oh cool - Team Glee!!!

We're in the blackout period where they compute all the scores. It must be a computer nightmare with all these team players. I was hoping it would be a 24 hour blackout period, but obviously, it isn't, since the blackout continues! I'm as curious as everyone else.


especially since I'm not sure who I selected. I'm pretty sure I picked the volleyball players (from NJ) and a couple, I think the couple where the girl is a hair stylist. But I want to see my results!!!

I. Why Should I Play? How about a great Grand Prize?
1. Grand Prize: The player with the highest overall points will win a $1,000 (see overall leader board on Sec. II. 5 below). If there is a tie a random drawing will decide the big winner.
II. How do I play? It's easy:
1. Legal residents of the US, 18 years of age and older, may sign up by registering for the CBS.com website, picking a name for your Amazing Race Fantasy League team and a password. No registrations will be accepted the final week of the promotion period as described in the Official Rules. The end date is subject to scheduling changes.
2. Pick two active Amazing Race Teams (if applicable) to be on your team.
3. Watch Amazing Race each week.
4. Check the site to see how your team did. Team point totals will be updated by 6:00 PM PT the day following the night of each new The Amazing Race broadcast.
5. Check the Leader Boards to see how you're doing. Your team's standing will appear on the Leader Board of the team that you've been assigned to. If you've accumulated enough points, you might also appear on the Season Leader Board. If you belong to any Private Group, you'll also be able to see your ranking on those Leader Boards.
6. If you're not happy with your team's performance, you can trade any or all of the teams on your roster for the following week, subject to roster freeze times disclosed in the Official Rules. If you like your team, you can keep them together. It's up to you: they're your team.
7. Keep watching Amazing Race and play to the end.
III. How Do I Score Points?
A. If any of the Amazing Race Teams on your team do any of the following during an episode of the show, you score points. No points are awarded for flashbacks. Watch the show and see what's happening. Here's how the points are scored:
a. First to Complete a Detour : Your team earns 50 points anytime one of your Amazing Race Teams is the first team to complete a detour.
b. First to Complete a Roadblock : Your team earns 50 points anytime one of your Amazing Race Teams is the first team to complete a roadblock.
c. First to Complete a Fast Forward : Your team earns 100 points anytime one of your Amazing Race Teams is the first team to complete a fast forward.
d. Victim of a U turn : Your team loses 100 points anytime one of your Amazing Race Teams Team is victim to a U Turn.
e. First to the Mat : Your team earns 100 points anytime one of your Amazing Race Teams is first to the Mat.
f. Second to the Mat : Your team earns 50 points anytime one of your Amazing Race Teams is 2nd to the Mat.
g. Third to the Mat : Your team earns 25 points anytime one of your Amazing Race Teams is 3rd to the Mat.
h. Team is Eliminated : Your team loses 100 points anytime one of your Amazing Race Teams are eliminated.
i. Last to the Mat But Not Eliminated : Your team loses 50 points anytime one of your Amazing Race Teams is last to the Mat but is not eliminated.
j. Team Cries : Your team loses 25 points anytime any member of one of your Amazing Race Teams sheds tears.
k. Team Falls : Your team loses 25 points anytime any member of one of your Amazing Race Teams falls.
l. Penalty : Your team loses 100 points anytime one of your Amazing Race Teams receives a penalty.
m. Helps Another Team : Your team earns 25 points anytime any of the members of one of your Amazing Race Teams helps another team.
n. Speaks a Local Language : Your team earns 10 points anytime any of the members of one of your Amazing Race Teams speaks the local language.
o. Swearing : Your team loses 5 points anytime one of your Amazing Race Teams swears (bleeped out).
p. Hugging : Your team earns 5 points anytime any member of one of your Amazing Race Teams hugs another person.
B. WEEKLY BONUS POINTS QUESTION. At midnight Eastern Time following the broadcast of each new episode of The Amazing Race a multiple choice bonus points question (the “Bonus Question” , based on The Amazing Race clips published on the Amazing Race Site and/or the broadcasted episode, will be posted on the Amazing Race Site. There will be one (1) Bonus Question for each original episode aired. Points accrued through the Bonus Questions will be added to the players overall game total by 6:00 PM Pacific Time the day following the night of each new Amazing Race broadcast.

The Fantasy site is out of blackout but points haven't been posted yet...So they should be finished with the updating in 1-2 hours....
(as posted by someone on the Amazing Race discussion boards) I hope they're right!

But I can get the new invites out. I'll try to get them out later when I get home from work (don't want to push my luck by doing it now).

FYI - I'm continuing to monitor the Amazing Race Fantasy game. Still no points, but I did pick my teams for this week. Hopefully eventually CBS will catch up and post our points. I'm sorry this isn't working out as planned.

That's ok. It's wierd, there's Podcast Board Fans and Podcast Board Fans2 - which as near as I can see has to members, me and Klam Chowder (Karen) - and ta-da - we're in 50th place which is pretty darn amazing!!! Way to go Karen. I can't explain it and I'm sure it'll change next week, but for now I bask in the glory of 50th place

CBS has a fantasy football league - these TAR FL folks should really have a chat with them! The blackouts and the navagational-ability makes their FL site really lacking

Those coffins were awesome! And, I couldn't help but think to some of the girls, stop plastering your kisses & hugs all over everyone - not everyone may think you're all that!
