I'm happy with Amazing Race moving to Friday. As someone else stated - now it will start on time .

HAHA. And I can't stand 60 minutes. So I'm always having to flip back and forth to see if it has started. And I'm not watching anything else on Fridays. So Fridays work for me.

How come they didn't bring back James and Abba for All-Stars? They were awesome and only got eliminated because of a stolen passport.

Maybe they didn't want to come back. Or maybe they weren't asked. I don't know. I remember when Tommy and Andy's cab driver decided they'd be better off viewing the Panama Canal than going where they told them to. I forget who got stranded because one of their cab drivers was corrupt and insisted they pay too much money for a fare. There are a lot of people eliminated by transportation snafus that are good players and could come back. There really is a lot of luck involved.

I thought that honor went to Amazing Race: Family Edition

For Canadian TAR fans in the Eastern timezone, CTV is showing it at 7:00 tonight (not sure about Maritimes, central, or out west sorry). That means we can a) see it earlier and b) see it TWICE.

Messes up = doesn't see the destination on the first go-round. Not someone hurting themselves.

I thought it was pretty good finale and that last roadblock was an impressive way to finish.

Agreed. Loved seeing Las Vegas (haven't been there), and enjoyed the illusion, and even the count the lightbulbs, but I always look forward to the end where there is a brain/memory challenge to finish it off. Crappy cabbies have been the demise of many a team, so that is part of the race, I guess. Maybe if they could have had a TWO hour finale, that could have been included...and made things more exciting. Only 7 weeks to wait for the Amazing Race Canada.

I just would rather have seen them have to remember things about the race instead of opening padlocks and then screwing in light bulbs. I did think the helicopter thing was good.

Blah with the winners. I can't believe Phil asked that question to the third place team. He told them then they still should be proud for finishing and coming in 3rd. I liked the face gesture, "it was like, ya Phil whatever."

I think it was very stupid! I mean, Dave complained every leg about being a 60 year old man.....if you can't keep up, quit complaining! Geez. And those girls got lucky with non-elim legs twice....they should've been gone. I am a Brenchel fan, but would've rather seen the final 3 be (in A-B-C ORDER) 1. Afghanimals 2. Brenchels 3. Cowboys

I was pleased with a 3rd place Brenchel finish. Anything that delays The Spawn of Brenchel. Her whining, crying, and meltdowns were quite enough without adding a poor baby to the mix who would actually have a valid reason to cry and meltdown.

I don't think the cabs were the only reason why the finish was in the order it was. This finish was all about minutes between the teams and running around the hotel or the neon sign place and arguing to get another teams cabs were all critical minutes that were lost and caused them to lose, plain and simple.

And they certainly raced "smarter not harder" in this episode.
