Just now on "The Best Month Ever' on VH1 they were showing the best things about July. #2 was Charla and Mirna on Amazing Race. Of course they made fun of Charla being a 'little person' a little bit (is it Vh1- they do stuff like that,) but it was cute to see the rest of what they said

I enjoy reading everyone's opinion about the players in this race. We each perceive what happens so differently, don't we? There seem to be other teams besides C/M where only one does the roadblocks, like Chip & his wife. Yet they are generally perceived as good players. My take on it is that the teams probably decide before they leave what types of things they could do best, based on stunts from past shows. Then somehow one member could be seen as participating more often if his/her skills were needed. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Did you know that the Big Brother 5 thread has almost exactly twice as many posts as the Amazing Race 5 thread? One show is practically Springer-esque, while the other is the only reality show to win an Emmy (soon to be two Emmies).

What is wrong with this country???

I think it is BB5 is on three nights a week or something plus they have live feeds people can write about.

Too bad Amazing Race is only one hour per week. I know this thread would be huge if we were able to look at live feeds and see the show more then once a week.

Has anyone seen the scenes for this week's episode (not the one they showed at the end of last week's)? It looks like they have to crawl through some small shaft or tunnel-thing and they show Charla practically running through it saying that she finally has a task made for her. Funny!
