I found that very interesting too especially the father/son team. The son knew Spanish, yet, when they left the Miami Airport he told his dad..."our first trip out of the country". I guess he had Spanish in school. He spoke it very well.

I thought it was funny too when the pretty boy twins thought their cabby left them and took ALL their gear...I made a mental note just in case I ever get on the show to take my gear with me!...and to pack very light.

I appreciated the fact that the "old twins" told the pretty boy twins that they got the fast forward. Integrity!

Yeah, that was pretty cool of them to wait around. That small gesture has put them at the top of my list of who I want to win. I think the fact that they are also total opposites is going to be good for a chuckle or two over the next few weeks. I hope they have a big enough lead that they can stay in this thing for the long run

WHAT is is about those TWINS?!! No-body likes them.....even I DON'T! I was hoping THEY would get eliminated, but the Soccer Moms were DEFINITELY NOT experienced to handle the WHOLE trip! Not much Strategy with those two! I too, am rooting for John and Jill!

I didn't dislike the model twins. I was actually hoping that they wouldn't be eliminated because they seemed so clueless and I can imagine myself doing stupid things under stress like that. Besides, they're nice to look at.

The soccer Moms did that crying bit about leaving their kids and all. I understand missing your kids but come on already!

I felt for the girl who cried about jumping out of the plane. A fear like that is a hard one to deal with.

It is so great that this show is back on!!

I can't stand the Harvard girls. What a pair of spoiled brats! I can't believe they were begging for money already.
It was hysterical that the one fell on her face!

I don't know who my favorites are yet. I like the brothers and the brother sister team so far. I don't like the twins because they are making stupid mistakes so far and the race just started!

Another fan of the brother and sister from Indiana! And the only word I can think of to describe the twins is vapid. I was kind of hoping that they would be eliminated last night....

I like the long distance couple.

But I was not impressed with how the cop and fireman thought it was ok to break the rules!!! First they ran a red light, and then they dodged under the barrier ropes at the airport and cut in line in front of a lot of other people. This was all shades of Team Guido from the original Amazing Race.

Love the show ! I hope the father/son team do well, and that they come to an understanding over the son's sexuality. ( I think the son is just cute as a button....what a smile, it shows such a capacity to enjoy life )

As long as we are picking favorites...I pick the straight/gay brother team. I agree with Grog they might provide us with some comic relief in the weeks to come.

I am looking forward to getting know the rest of the teams. The first show it's hard to judge one's character.

It is hard to pick so soon but I would like to see the father/son go far , I think that they will show all of really show the meaning of uncondtional love. The two lawyer chixs seem to really have it together IMO however, saying that they will probally be the next to go.

Darn, I had a whole thing written and it went poof! Anyhow...I'm sooo glad that Amazing Race is back. It's my favorite "reality" show and just the thought of traveling all over the world like that is awesome. I would sign up but only if they would let me bring my kids along!! My favorites so far are John Vito and Jill followed by Aaron and Arianna (?). My opinion is bound to change once I get to see more of their true character. I was ROTFL when the Harvard girls were on the donkey cart and the one flew off face first. Did you see her with that 'I hope that doesn't make it to national tv' look?! How embarrassing! I give them credit for collecting the money early on but I'm hoping that they are saving that for when they are really going to need it down the road. The twins deserved to be eliminated last night after that whole leaving their bags in the cab incident. Did I miss something or how did they get them back?! Probably some cameraman saw the twins running off without them and got them. Can't wait until next week. Did you guys read the preview where a car collides with a bus full of Teams!!??

I love this show and really thought about trying out for it..... Alas, That dream will have to wait a couple more years now..... It is my favorite of all the reality shows....

No favorite teams so far, but I think the brother team who used the fast forward made a huge mistake.....WAY WAY to early to use it in my opinion.

I suppose I am kinda rooting for the father/son team (the son is gay and the dad hates the idea of it)

Ah Man! HOW did I miss that this had started! But this semester I am teaching a night class on M and W... guess I'll be doing alot of taping! This is the one show my DH and I make sure we stop everything and watch together.......

T & T are gone. So sad but they will go far in life even if they didn't in AR. They both have such good attitudes!

I'm finding it hard to warm up to the couples and am not getting their names straight. Although I think I like the long distance couple, she was very encouraging when he was in the water looking for the clue with the dolphins. I'm still rooting for the gay/straight brother team.

Thank goodness, no one was seriously hurt with the car/bus crash. And those, wave-runners...does anyone know where the propellers (if any) are on those things. I would have been concerned about getting caught up in the propeller when trying to get back on.

And the cabbie's face when Arianne (I think) changed into her swimsuit. I bet he was thinking....it's my lucky day (along with the cameraman.)

Anxious to hear everyone's thoughts on last night's show.

I was hoping T & T would last awhile longer. I have to admit, I was LOL'ing when they (and the married couple)kept falling off the wave-runners.

I like the brothers (the straight/gay ones). I really would like to see them win.

For some reason, I just DO NOT like Flo. She seems so arrogant & bossy.

The look on the cabbies face when Arianne changed into her bathing suit was priceless!

So far my favorites are the son/father team, and the older brothers. I also like the younger twins, they haven't done anything to the other teams (unless the editors aren't showing something) but the other teams are so catty about them. Calling them team doublemint and being on a quest to get them out. They are just jealous and threatened.
