Amazing Bird's Eye Photos of WDW

Don't know how many of you have seen these...but for those who haven't...

Zoom map of US down to WDW...
Go to 2D view then click on the bird's eye icon.

You can see all the resorts and theme parks with incredible detail from any direction.
I find it's helping me to look around at each of the resorts and paths to pools, bus stops, main entrances etc...

Oh man, that's the greatest! You can see all of the backstage and undeveloped areas. Gives you a whole new outlook on WDW.

Doesn't seem to work for me.

When I click one of the links above I get the homepage, not the map, and when I search for an area I see no way of changing from map view to image view.

These problems might have to do with Live Local Search being from Microsoft and that the computer I'm on isn't running Windows.

While some of the features sound cool I'll stick with Google Maps as it works on every computer I've tried it on. Ignore the title bar, I couldn't get it to center on MK on its own, I had to search for Epcot and move the map by hand to MK.

That was neat!

I searched for my address and found our house. It was kinda creepy seeing my DH's car in the driveway - and I could see all the different views from North, South, East & West. Our fence wasn't up yet, so the view of our neighborhood was from at least the winter of 2005. Still cool!

Where in relation to MK is this? As I mentioned above Live Maps don't work for me.

I know of the Mickey pond south of the TTC/MK parking lot but is it something else you're talking about?

Just North East of the MK in what looks like a giant dumping ground/holding
area. There are clearly 3 giant MM's laying on the ground behind trailers... You can see them from the South and West angles of the photos.

Just North East of the MK in what looks like a giant dumping ground/holding
area. There are clearly 3 giant MM's laying on the ground behind trailers... You can see them from the South and West angles of the photos.

That's the WDW boneyard. I'll have to try to get onto a Windows computer this evening and see if I can find these hidden Mickeys.

I just plugged in my home address and the "bird's eye" shows my house.....but the view is OLD 'cause the garage addition we added two years ago is not showing up, and our old minivan is parked in the driveway (haven't had THAT for years!!) LOL!!

I love Local Live! You can look at places all over the world. They recently added the birds eye view of London, and I'm hoping they do Paris soon so I can scope out Disneyland Paris.

Thank you Davey-D. The Yacht/Beach does indeed have an awesome pool. Isn't POR a lovely resort? That's my favorite moderate. I love this site - I'm glad to know about it.
