Amaryllis Bulbs

Has anyone ordered these online and mailed them as a gift?

I've never sent them as a gift but I've bought them online for myself. You can send me some if you like.

Seriously I love Amaryllis and have given away some of mine potted up and ready to bloom and people always love them.

What company did you order them from? I was thinking of placing an order online and sending them direct to someone.

I, too, have bought them online for myself, in order to get varieties that aren't commonly available locally. I love amaryllises and give them for gifts a lot. Try to buy the ones that say "extra large" bulbs. They will be much taller and will put out many more flowers than the smaller bulbs you generally see for sale at the big box stores.
