Oh no! She knows about dinner! I guess I should cancel the bottle of wine then huh ;) LOL!

Susan we are so excited! I am not getting a thing done at work and everyone here just keeps shaking their heads at me. Of course the vacation time I gave up between Christmas and New Years is going lot hotcakes for people that couldn't get the time off before. BTW, I still have off Christmas Eve and the 27th so that works out good.

SUSAN!!!!! I just got off the phone with Disney Dinning - I figured why not try everyday to get a PS for Liberty Tree Tavern - and I got one! At 4:10 p.m. for Brian and myself! So we will be there too! How cool! I hope you get to read this - if not I'll have Eric fill ya in tonight! I'm so excited!!!

I AM a bit jealous - you're spending a night at my beloved Beach Club Villas! Watch out or you & Brian will be bitten by the DVC bug like we were. :p Best $ we ever spent! ::yes:: I wouldn't trade my points at the Beach Club Villas for anything. Todd & I agreed we can never divorce - the fight over those points would just be too much for either of us! :crazy: :teeth:

So where are you staying the rest of your trip?

I didn't do my walking either. It was so bitter cold and I just don't have the proper gear for it yet. I'll need to do some shopping for some kind of pants to keep my legs warm. Even jeans with long underwear is just not cutting it. I HATE to be cold. Any suggestions??

Hope your walk tonight goes well! I'll be walking with DH - no excuses! :wave2:
 
Okay! Yeah the hotel would have helped. After our one night stay with our friend neighbors :wave2: we will be moving over to the Port Orleans French Quarter resort. This is a resort that has always interested Brian and I so I am very excited about staying there. PLUS....we were able to get a rate of $79 a night - so that is really what helped out there. Gotta love being an AP holder.

Stuff to wear for the cold....hm............I'm not sure sweety....have you tried sweat pants?

A spontaneous trip to WDW?!?!? I am GREEN with envy!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: AND you get to see all of the holiday decorations! Beautiful!!

I can't think of a better place to do some marathon training. Think how easy it will be to get your miles in there. ;)

Have fun planning! And getting your neighbor to walk some extra miles with you tonight.

Good Morning! Well the scale is back to being my friend! This morning it quoted 158 which is so much better then the 161 I saw yesterday. I had a great day yesterday food wise....well maybe not great but certainly an improvement over last week.
Recap:
B: 2 eggs, slice of cheese
L: Turkey slices w/little bit of gravy - broccoli and velvetta cheese
S: Reeses Peanutbutter cup
D: Pork Chops in a mushroom garlic sauce, about 1/2 cup of corn and a small baked potato w/sourcream and butter.
S: Peanutbutter and Jelly Sandwich and a Sugar free Hot Chocolate
Exercise: Walk 4.2 miles with my neighbor
Water: 7 glasses of water yesterday.

Today's plan:
B: small ham, green and red peppers, with cheese omelet.
L: ?? Might be a leftover pork chop with veggie or I might do summer sausage and cheese.
D: shredded BBQ Chicken on a bun.
Exercise: 20 minutes of weights and abs.
Water - 8 glasses
Vitamins - just took them.

I want to avoid unhealthy snacks today. I think if I could just keepp away from the dang chocolate I would be so much better. I'll have to think of some healthy snack alternatives that I can keep here are work. Anyone have any ideas?

Life without chocolate?? :eek: OK, I know - I'm trying to learn to live without it myself. :rolleyes: Life just isn't fair! :( We are seriously going to have to start looking for some low-carb chocolate treats!! ::yes::

I am so proud of you for getting your walk in last night!! :worship: I didn't walk but I did go shopping for some pants to walk in! I'll be trying them out tonight.

18 days - WOW! I really wanted to see the Osborne lights at MGM this year. If you get a chance, could you oooo and aaahhh at them for me??? Oh, and the gingerbread carousel in the lobby of the Beach Club is not to be missed!! ::yes:: You and Brian are going to have the BEST time!!! Oh, and by the way, please pack a sweatshirt for that guy of yours!!! :teeth: :hyper: :teeth: :hyper: :teeth:

Sounds like you've got some awesome plans for your December trip. Do yourself a favor, though, get as much Christmas stuff done beforehand as you can; it'll make re-entry that much easier.

Erin that is a good suggestion - an I am trying to get as much done as possible before the trip. So far I have my MIL's gift almost complete - I'm searching for some candle holders I like. She is getting new placemats, napkins, and napkin rings. Thank Goodness Kohl's had a huge sale!

Well yesterday was an almost successful day. I avoided chocolate all day long and that is a pretty major accomplishment. Here is a recap:
B: small omelet w/ham, peppers, and cheese
L: 12 pieces of sausage and swiss cheese. 1 tsp of honey mustard to dip in.
S: toasted walnuts w/butter, splenda, and sugar (very yummy!)
D: BBQ Shredded chicken on a hamburger bun w/ cheese. And then some w/o the bun.
S: PB&J sandwich

Water - I had about 6 glasses of water yesterday.
Exercise - skipped the weights for Christmas shopping.

I do have a freezer at work but I share this area with about 1000 people - they would be gone in a second. I might keep some sugar free jello around the house though - that is a good idea. Thanks Erin!

Okay so plan for today!
B: PB&J sandwich (can't seem to get enough of these)
L: Not sure yet - might be leftover bbq chicken or something else.
D: ???
Water - 8 glasses
Vitamins
Skip sweets and eat healthy snacks.

I have to pick up DH from the airport so we are going to skip our walk tonight but I plan on doing 4.2 miles again tomorrow to make up for it. The scale was a little lower today at 157 lbs. I'm sure if I just keep avoiding sweets and drinking my water that I will see a difference.

Amanda, your trip sounds heavenly. You are going to have the time of your lives. I have a couple of suggestions for snacks at work. Costco has 1 oz packages of peanuts, sf jello always works, Russell Stover's has some lc candies. I like the mint patties. The bonus is that I HAVE to stop at 1 or 2, otherwise I get a stomach aches. What about getting a bottle of SF flavored syrup to add to your coffee? I hope one of those works for you.

4 Wish princess: taking a no candy challenge! This is fun!

Okay recap for yesterday:
B: PB&J sandwich
L: Leftover BBQ shredded chicken w/slice of cheese
S: Peanut Butter Crackers
Early Dinner: 6 Chicken Wings, 2 glasses of milk.
Late Dinner: Applebees Fiesta Lime Chicken w/a little rice
Water - about 6 glasses - just can't seem to get to 8.

I came into work an hour early today to make up the hour I left early on Tuesday. I am falling asleep at my desk but at least it is nice and quite. Brian is home and that is WONDERFUL - I really missed him.

Plan for today:
B: ?? Going to the cafeteria to see what looks good.
L: Sausage and cheese w/mustard
D: I'm thinking Polish Sausage and veggies.
Snacks will all be healthy non sugar snacks.
Water - striving for 8 glasses
Vitamins - already taken.
Exercise - DH and I will walk 4.2 miles.

I hope you made it through yesterday candy-free! I also hope you had a wonderful walk with Brian! It's hard to see our DHs leave and even harder to live without them while they're gone, but the homecomings sure are nice! ::yes:: Absence makes the heart grow fonder, so they say.

Today is Friday! Hooray!! I know you ALWAYS have stuff planned for your weekends but I'm hoping you'll find some time to just relax too. You've had a tough week and you deserve some "me" time!

I was a bad girl yesterday and skipped my walk. I just didn't have the energy to do it. Sorry. I avoided candy yesterday for 5 days in a row of no sweets! My water intake was awful yesterday though! No real plan for today - I'm a little limited on food choices so I am just going to make due. But no candy! Tonight we are going to the movies with another couple. Thankfully I don't like to eat during movies so no worries there. :)

I will walk 7 miles this weekend!
