Class last night went by pretty quickly so my evening wasn't to bad. My food was horrible through the day:
b: yogurt and a quakers oats bar, l: garlic butter rice and chicken, d: McDonald's double cheeseburger and french frieds, s: Famous Amos Cookies.

I only got in 2 glasses of water :confused3 but I did take my vitamins :)

Plan today - I need to flush the system so I'm drinking my water! Vitamins at lunch. And Food: b: yogurt and fruit, l: boneless chicken wings with mild sauce and celery sticks w/ranch dressing. d: pizza and a movie with friends - I'm also going to either order or make a big salad.
Exercise: Going to Curves after work.

I've become very lax on my veggie intake since I decided to go off my diet portion. I need to get back in a better groove of having at least a veggie serving at lunch and dinner.

Good Morning Everyone! I sure hope the :sunny: come out today to brighten my mood. I'm extremely tired today. I am entering the D-zone and I am feeling a little anxious. I am always very tired for at least 2 day and with the hours I'm keeping at the moment I am worried about crashing.

This weekend was great we saw lots of friends and had a great time :rotfl2: . We also got some work around the house done that desperately needed to get off our to do list. I am very proud of myself because back in September I planted tulip bulbs and they are actually growing and blooming! How about that!!!!

I'm feeling extra bloated today and I definately slacked on drinking my water this weekend. So Plan for today is:

Water - 8 glasses
Exercise: Curves after work - 3 times around the circuit (I also did this on Saturday)
Vitamins - at lunch
Food: b: yogurt and bannana, l: either leftover sesame chicken or something else? d: I have defrosted chicken breast after that I have no idea ;)

Good news about the bulbs...I think our dogs dug up the ones I planted. Nothing but dirt.

Good Morning! This will have to be fast since I am training someone again today :rolleyes:

Yesterday was a good day although I was behind on my water - I need to work on this. I did go to Curves but only went through the circuit 2 and a half times instead of the 3 I was planning on doing. I was starving when I started and really needed to eat something.

I finally went grocery shopping and now I have a lot of good and nutritious foods to choose from!

Plan today:
Water: 8 glasses
Vitamins: at lunch
Food: b: yogurt and apple, l: Leftover chicken breast and noodles, s: pretzels, d:Peanutbutter and jelly sandwich and some applesauce.
Exercise: Rest day.

Yesterday was a rough day. They had me training someone again which pretty much means no down time to just let your brain rest. Then class was really tough last night. DH tried to get me up to go to Curves this morning and I just rolled over and went back to sleep - I was exhausted. I still feel like I am sleep walking and I'm hoping the coffee I am drinking is going to kick in here soon and wake me up a bit.

I think a rest day is a great idea!! You can't burn the candle at both ends indefinitely dear Amanda. Take a day off guilt-free! :cloud9:

Your meals look good. I hope being less strict with your carbs is making things easier for you.

I think you did the right thing this morning. Combine TOM, the extra class, extended work, and you needed the rest. You are doing great. Congrats on the tulips. Mine didn't come up this year.

I've been trying this new thing that when I start to hear myself speak negatively about myself that I make myself stop, look around, and basically get a grip. It worked out really well this weekend when I went to a wedding - I was able to have a really great time without constantly comparing myself to someone else in the room who I thought looked better then me. It did help that the group of guys we went with all thing I am the bomb and flirt constantly with me ;)

I am finding I need to use this thought alot already this morning. I'm bloated from lack of water and an increase in salt (I've been snacking on pretzels during class), TOM is coming and I'm always a little on the heavier side during that time. And the jeans I'm wearing although from the same manufacturer and size as my other jeans - fit differenlty. By the way the other pair fit great and I bought them at the same time as these! I am trying to use the logic of - not all jeans are the same - instead of - "GOD I'M A BIG BLOATED PIG AND I SHOULD JUST HIDE UNDER THE COVERS BECAUSE I LOOK LIKE QUASIMODO! :blush:

I again missed Curves this morning - I am just extremely tired. My hope is to go Friday after work and then again on Saturday morning. Not the best plan - but it is all I've got. My water stunk yesterday with only 2 glasses! So I am making that my priority today - if I do nothing else today I will drink 8 glasses of water!

Plan:
Food: b: bannana and yogurt, l: I might have some leftover NY hot dogs and some celery. d: Turkey Sandwich w/cheese, apple. Avoid Salt!
Water: 8 glasses
Vitamins: at lunch

To answer Doe's ques the other day - yes taking time off from constantly thinking about food has lifted a weight off my shoulders. I know I couldn't do all the classes, work, life, and diet at the same time and I would have been beating myself up the whole time for failing. I have not noticed an increase in size at all since going off program and I think I owe all of that to Curves.

I love the idea of stopping those negative thoughts dead in their tracks and consciously replacing them with positive thinking!! I think I'll try that myself.

Hang in there, Amanda! I know things are tough at the moment, but this should be a short term thing, right? Eventually your classes will end and the schedule will ease up a bit. Then you can get back to Curves on a more regular basis.

I'm sending pixie dust and strength and blessings for your day. The weekend is almost here! :sunny:

:hug: I hope that the whoosh fairy shows up soon. you are doing a great thing for yourself by stopping the negative self talk. I think women really need to be aware of it, and it is something that we struggle with constantly.

I started today off in such a good mood - and then :headache: work. I swear somedays it is like dealing with children - very rich children with a lot of money.

But I am not going to let that derail me. Yesterday was a tough day, lots of negative thoughts and then a long day of work and class to boot. I managed to get through it unscathed but I did take in some comfort food. Dairy Queen Mint Chocolate Chip Blissard. It hit the spot last night after 4 hours of classes. And I think I finally got into a deep enough sleep last night that I woke up this morning feeling rested.

Today is the Cardinal's home opener and I am wearing my RED Earl of Sandwich shirt to celebrate (I don't own a Cardinal's shirt - can you believe that?) The shirt makes me happy though because I am thinking of Disney World!

Plan for today:
Food: b;yogurt and bannana, l: tuna salad, d: tacos
water: 8 glasses (I got in 6 yesterday)
Exercise: CURVES after work!!!!
Vitamins: forgot them yesterday so I need to take them today.
