Amanda & Eric 03/03/10- WP/WHP/Sago Cay Centerpiece Ideas!

Lol you don't make it any easier!! I do love the Napa Room and am kinda leaning toward it, but I miss the idea of a dessert party.

And thanks for your vote Lauren:rotfl2:

:rotfl: I know, all my praises for ADH don't help. I do love the Napa room though. It is in my top 5 favorite locations at WDW.

Well if you time it with Wishes it would be all the perks of a dessert party minus some of the costs. Or you could do an earlier ceremony/reception and head over to EPCOT after. Do you know if they can pipe the music into the room? That would be awesome.

No problem! We all know my vote counts waaaaaaay more than Erics!:lmao:

So is the idea of having the dessert party the night before as a welcome party out of the question?? I know you said it would obviously cost more but didn't know if you are taking it out of consideration completely.

Well I know that they pipe music into the California Grill in general so I don't see why not :confused3

Lol of course it does!!

Paying for the dessert party outside of the wedding does seem to be a little out of our price range  Too many decisions!!! I think it will have to wait at least until this weekend but probably more like 2 weeks after we get settled into our new apartment.

Yeah this next month seems to be a crazy one. I keep trying to figure out when I can go try on bridesmaid dresses but I don't have a free weekend until the last weekend in May unless I go during the week. Which could work since apparently some of the bridal stores are open until ike 8pm during the week. May is insane for me and I am not looking forward to it! I'm just glad it's one month away from June and Disney:cool1:

I know! I could really use the vacation!! We will find a time to go shopping :)

Just got off the phone with my WC and let her know we are rethinking our venue. She said no problem since we are 10 months out anyway.

She is looking at venue prices for AK but said this...if AK adjust it's park hours, we would get bumped to later. Even if it's in our price range (doubt it) I don't know that I want to risk it.

Back to the drawing board!!

Maybe we should skip the gym and go shopping instead LOL:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

The risk of the hours changing is a little annoying. AK would be amazing for the reception though!! Although, I really do like the idea of the Napa Room. I think it just seems to fit you both.

Haha great idea! Then neither of us will fit into our dresses.:lmao:

I do love the Napa room...but am stuck on Ceremony and the logistics of it all.

are you against a beach wedding? WP has a beach that I have seen used and then your guest could hop over to CR on the monorail? Sunset, beach, castle backdrop?

Beautiful dress, you look so pretty.

I like the idea of having the ceremony at Sunset Pointe, it's such a pretty location. Then you could head right over to the Napa room for the reception. Heck, I'd probably jump on the monorail to get there, the idea of wearing my wedding dress on the monorail would be too hard to resist, wonder if they'd arrange a private car? LOL

They do have a car.. But I want to say heidi was on the monorail too

I agree I think you want the napa room! The way you describe it sounds like you have it all planned out... honestly anywherre you go I know it will be amazing... and you could always squeeze a quick unofficial trip to some of the places when you go to WDW next month right?

I bet you will just get a good feeling when you actually see somewhere... we are a strange bunch on here when you think about it... I mean what other brides would book without seeing places in person! We trust the pictures from other brides and disney which is kinda strange when you think about it... off topic sorry! But when you see someplace you will know I am positive:goodvibes

If you did the WP could the guests take the monorail to Napa Room?

I don't have a dress to fit into yet though!!!:lmao: At this point I am walking down the aisle naked:scared1:

Thank you. I just love my dress:lovestruc

As for Sunset Point it's a bit too small. We will probably have around 30 people. I do love the monorail idea though!! I told my mom that last night!!!

I know!! We are a bit crazy...I have been to Cali Grill before and I think that is part of why I love it so much. It seems very intimate and romantic and the view of MK...:lovestruc

I guess I should bring Eric in on my plans:rotfl2:

:rotfl2::rotfl2:OMG...you almost made me spit my water out all over the monitor!!

yeah id totally ask you WC to take a look at those place when you go there! when we went, we had Diane and she was so helpful and friendly- we had a great 2 hours with her driving round to different places!

I'm glad I could make you laugh...although the idea of me going down the aisle naked makes me think I need to go to the gym even more!!:rotfl2:

I LOVE the idea of the monorail. It won't cost anything either which is a major plus.

And bring Eric in on the plans...so silly:rotfl:

I wasn't thinking of Sunset Point..I thought someone here had their wedding on the beach just outside the WP and it seemed to be a larger party..
Let me go see if I can find the pictures

Wow, that pic of the Napa room is amazing. I've never been there but I bet it would be a lovely evening ceremony. I'm sure you'll find the right place for the right budget.

Ok so if we do this at night I am going for simple elegance...something with a romantic mood.

I love that idea. Night weddings are my favorite (being that mine was a night :rotfl:). Are you thinking of red now or is that just a picture you found?
