Amanda & Eric 03/03/10- WP/WHP/Sago Cay Centerpiece Ideas!

Thank you!! Lauren beat me to it!! I have a dress!! My mom suprised me (kinda) and bought it for me. We tried on lots of dresses but that one was just IT!!! I feel so comfortable and pretty in it!!

Yeah it took me forever to upload them from my camera to the computer so instead of emailing them to you I decide to just post. I love the way it looks with the birdcage and feather piece....beautiful:lovestruc

Once I find a place that Dessy sells dresses you will have to go with me to try them on!! I know you say I can wear whatever I want but you have to have an opinion to it is your wedding!!

Are you as exhausted as I am from today???:faint:

Your dress looks absolutely stunning on you! What a perfect choice. Congrats!!:goodvibes

Simply stunning Amanda! Love it! Great that you are showing the tattoos on your wedding day too, especially the one in memory of your grandfather.

I'm so glad you found and bought the dress! It totally looks amazing on you. I really enjoyed my experience at DB and I hope you did as well. And the birdcage is gorgeous with it!

Oh Mandy...that dress is so gorgeous. I'm glad you got it because it is seriously perfect. The veil looks fantastic with it.

oh I love your dress! what a great choice :goodvibes
Thank you!!
Wow, you found your dress so easily - how cool is that! Thanks for the pics too MOH. You know what's really cool? You had potentially at least another winner in that lot - I also really liked the strapless/diamante buckle - so even if you'd decided on reflection that the one you saw before wasn't the One, you had other options in the same fitting without going to another store. How easy is that?? Anyway, your dress looks great on you, you can really pull off that dropped hemline decoration. I like your choice of veil/blusher too (the correct term for that particular style escapes me) :thumbsup2 So, any thoughts on jewellry? I know you were looking at those yellow earrings before, but now that the colour palette has changed...? :)
Thank you!! They were actually from 2 different stores. But I am positive that dress is THE ONE!!! Not sure about jewelry yet but I do love the comb with a birdcage veil!

Beautiful dress!!!! it looks fabulous on you!!!!! Congrats

Thank you!

Love that dress with the birdcage veil!!!! Great choice Amanda!! It looks like old hollywood! :lovestruc
That is part of why I love it soo much! Thank you!

Oh we definitely have to go try on dresses!! And YES I am just as exhausted!!:lmao:

It's funny you say that. Lately I have decided I really don't like the tattoo I got in memory of my grandfather...I think partially is it's placement. I am thinking of getting it covered up with a poppy, the flower of remembrance.

I'm so glad you found and bought the dress! It totally looks amazing on you. I really enjoyed my experience at DB and I hope you did as well. And the birdcage is gorgeous with it!
DB has been really great to me too! I like the birdcage but am thinking of looking elsewhere to buy it.

Thank you!! I liked some other dresses I tried on but this is just me. Plus I love that it is a little sexy!

ooh...how exciting that you found your dress!!! It looks amazing on you!!

Since I took a very long nap this evening I am up! But, I decided we have to go to Bridal Belle for the bridesmaid dress because I just got finished looking at all the designers they carry and they have so many gorgeous ones. Especially in Taffeta:lovestruc

Ok so I feel so overwhelmed right now. I keep thinking there is so much time but we only have about 10 months.

Since I decided on the dress I am kind of second guessing our venues. I picture more of an evening wedding and reception but I have no idea!

I guess between moving and the wedding there is just so much going on. And reading everyone's Pj's make me feel like I have so many decisions to make. I really wanted this to be simple and I didn't want to go crazy planning.

Anyone else go through this?

Oh don't worry 10 months is plenty of time. But I'm sure moving in is quite an adventure. At least you picked out the dress (that isn't mature, but more womanly--I feel like a girl, and look like one at times)

Changing the venue isn't that big of deal...at least you're still decided on Disney. I'm sure you've got tons of help with the decisions, plus there's the Disney wedding planner, so you're a-ok!

Good luck.

Thank you...I know 10 months is a long time but when I think of everything that has to be done it doesn't seem like it.

So I just talked to Eric and he feels the same way I do about switching to an evening ceremony and reception. It's actually what he wanted from the beginning but we both fell in love with France. This makes things easier for Randy too!!

So some ideas I have.

SBP- Eric isn't crazy about this due to people walking by
WP- I really wanted something more unique...but this is a great location

Reception-
Attic- Eric is still open to this...mostly because of the price, lol but it lets us be close to EPCOT and still have a dessert party

ADH- I think it fits my dress lol

Napa Room- I LOVE that this overlooks the MK and it's my favorite restaurant

WHP- We both have liked this location since the beginning

OOHHH choices. I really wish there was another option for the ceremony. Actually if it were up to Eric we would do all of this at AK, but I can only imagine the venue fees!!

My vote goes to SBP but that's only because I have this weird dislike for the WP lol. Also, I picture you getting married outside for some reason!! I just looked at the pictures of SBP again and totally love it.

As far as reception...that is difficult! First of all...I keep trying to figure out what WHP is and can only come up with Whitehall room but can't figure out where the P comes in. Does that stand for something else? If it is the Whitehall room I do love that one. It is beautiful. I think the ADH looks so fun!!! It totally does fit your dress. Napa Room looks great too and overlooking the MK is ALWAYS a plus! I don't know....is there one you like more??

My mom likes SBP more than the WP too...I am totally not sure. I think the WP at a 7:30 p.m. ceremony would be so beautiful. I think my problem is I feel like EVERYONE does SBP.

WHP is for Whitehall Patio :) We both like that but the Napa room is so cool. The biggest difference is no dessert part. But my mom said she doesn't think it would make a difference.

See I feel the exact opposite and feel like all I see is people having a WP wedding lol. Would you have the ceremony at 7:30...that seems late for the ceremony but what do I know lol. I thought ours was late and it was at 5:30!

Ok I totally love the Whitehall Patio...that was my favorite part from the Whitehall Room! The Napa room was really cool too. That is a hard one. They are completely different (one being inside and the other outside!). If you had to pick right this second which ones would you go with??

Ya I guess 7:30 is kinda late...we could be at WHP by 8:15 though. WP is more expensive then SBP though.

I am leaning toward the Napa room but I do like the idea of just staying in the EPCOT area and still having the Dessert Party. I told Eric I would get some stuff together for him to look at and we can decide. Plus I was looking a possible menu for the Napa Room.

Yeah that looks delicious!!! :thumbsup2 Is that a buffet or served?

I also love the SBP. I fell in love with it when I saw it in person while staying at the Boardwalk in December.

Served!! Financially Napa is a tiny bit cheaper but we have to pay for transportation so it all evens out!!

What did you think of Atlantic Dance Hall?? It's a bit big...but I think it could be fun.
