VGF 2 bedroom- 7 adults and 3 children. 2 of the children are under the age of 2. 10 total people, but would fall under 9 plus 1 infant? Am I correct?

And a VGF 2BR lockoff actually has an occupancy of 10, so probably 10+1 under 2.

But OP might have a dedicated 2BR and then the limit is 9 plus one infant.

As I understand it, the occupancy for a 2 BR is still 9 even if the individual components would be 10 total plus ONE infant as a freebie per Disney's general policy.

The website will allow you to book 10+1 in a VGF lockoff. Other resorts with the same sleeping areas don't seem to work the same.

From the member website:

"2-Bedroom Lock-Off Villa – Standard View
View Floor Plans- Modal
1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, 2 queen-size sleeper sofas, 2 pull-down bunk-size beds
Sleeps Up to 10"

And the website allows the 10+1 for a lockoff.

Unless I'm forgetting some location there isn't another resort that has sleeping spaces for 5 in each. But one could question why they allow the 5 in the 1BR's without the sleeping space and with the new murphy beds allow 5+1 in the studios at VWL but then don't allow the 10+1 to be booked in the lock-off. I'm not complaining about it though but it's a little strange the lock-off occupancy didn't increase along with the studio increase.

Thanks, the points table doesn't make a distinction.

My WDW Point Chart shows all room capacities (including 2 Bedroom Lock-Off vs. 2 Bedroom) if you open in Excel and hover over points for given Resort/Room Type. For 2 Bedroooms, "VGF 2 Bedroom Lock-Off Villa Sleeps 10; OKW, AKV (except Value), VWL (Lock-Off), BLT, & VGF (Dedicated) Sleep 9; All other 2 Bedroom Villas Sleep 8 – 9th guest can be accommodated (except AKV Value & PVB Bungalow), but please note that NO ADDITIONAL BEDDING, LINENS OR TOWELS WILL BE PROVIDED."

OP here. We have all stayed in a 2 bedroom before. Mom, dad, grown children and grandchildren. We are not all there at the same time very much. Too many points for a grand villa. We really want the kitchen and the laundry in room so we do not like to reserve studios.
