Am I too late to make a building request?

We're going down for free dining and I totally forgot to make a building preference at POP! I'm too cheap to pay for the preferred rooms but I want a building as close to the bus stop as I can get without paying more. Which building do you think that is? The 50s? Is it too late to call back and ask for a building?

I had 2 requests for our stay at ASMo. One was to be in the Buzz Lightyear building (for my 3 year old!) and one was king connecting to a room with 2 doubles. They could add only one request in the section (they put Buzz down). I would call and just ask if they can put that request with your ressie. Then I also called the resort direct and they said I could fax my requests 5 days in advance

You could always call Disney reservations and ask if you could add a room request.

Come to think of it, I may call and confirm everything. Sorry not much help on this, maybe someone else will know for sure.

You can always call CRO and ask them to make a notation on your reservation regarding building requests. Some travelers fax in requests 3-5 days prior to arrival as well.

I always ask for what I "want" at check in. As in "if you had a room in the 70s section that would be great!" Usually CMs are great about it, and will try there best to grant your wish.

My recommendation would be 70s section since its closer to the "bus stop and food court" side of the main building. 50s section is also nice though! We stayed in building 2 (juke box) and the walk to the food court was about 5 mins.

It is never too late (unless you're already there) to add a request. Be sure to priortize them in order of what is important to you. Disney will do its best to grant them, but there are no guarantees.
