I love the free dining deal but I must have changed my resort back and forth about 7 times now ( pop to csr to pop to csr to pop to assp to pop again) and on friday a snuck behind my DH back (he siad if i changed again we were not going) and changed it because I knew since he would be home from work over the weekend i would not have time to do it and free dining was supposed to end Sunday. ( he all most caght me too. As i hung up the phone he walked through the door :rotfl2: )

Anyway giving me all these extra days i fear i will change my mind yet again. I honestly dont know whats wrong with me. I was never like this before....honest :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: I figured ok after 6/4 no more changes and this crazy addiciton would end.

Is there anyone out there like this....or I am the only one????

Disney has a weird effect on me i amost cant wait till the vacation is over but then again I fear i will be compelled to book another and the cycle will never end!!!!! :hyper: :earboy2:

I am sad because the park may fill up more than I want, and I want no crowds!

I must be missing something. What does the DDP have to do with changing resorts? :confused3

I whent last year while they offerd this and it was still not crowded, se we are going again this year :)

I'm obsessed too.......some days I don't think about Disney "much", but some days it's all I think about!! Don't worry......I'm sure you will end up happy where ever you stay because you will be at DISNEY!!! YAY!!!

I understand your problem. If you couldn't change after 6/4 you wouldn't. But now you have more time. I haven't changed our resort but I did change our stay from 5 nights to 10 nights!! :woohoo: :woohoo: I convinced my mom it made financial sense to base our Florida stay at POP-it's almost like they're paying us to stay! :rotfl2: I changed our stay on June 1st since my mom was going out of town and would be back after the 4th. She didn't have much time to think about it but she agreed :cool1: :thumbsup2

Perhaps, there's a support group you could join? :rotfl2:

Its the free DDP. After the offer has ended i do not believe that i will be able to change my resort as there will not be any rooms offered at any resort for free dining. I figured that since i really want the free dining that would stop me from changing again.

Anyway i am feeling pretty content now and i think rooms for the free dining are filling up during the time i am going so i am trying to stay put.

Gotcha. So you decided to stick with Pop? I bet you'll enjoy it. We had a great time there in May!

I'm having the same problem. :rotfl2:

I keep going back and forth between POR and PC. My son and I really want to try POR, but my purse wants us to return to Pop Century. :thumbsup2

The resorts may be more crowded but you know all of those offsite guests? They will not be increasing in number because they aren't eligible for the free dining. You probably won't notice that the crowds are much heavier than the usual late-August-to-September crowds.

because I don't get all this changing!!! We decided on the resort we wanted before we booked. I made all our ADR's at 180 days after weeks of planning. I don't understand why I would change anything!!! Free Dining certainly might give you more options but back & forth & back & forth? I just don't get it. :confused3

I'm going back and forth because I'm not sure I really want to spend the extra money for a moderate.

My son and I spend all of our time in the parks. We only use the room to sleep and shower. As much as we'd both love to try a moderate, the values meet our needs.

Well originally i decided pop but then free dining came up and so that means extra money in my pocket so then we decided CSR. I thought about it then decided I could save $400 bucks plus get free dining if we stayed at pop so after a few months of being content i changed to pop. After i read some not so good things about pop I decided a mod would be better. My purse kept talking to me so pop it was again. I heard the rooms at ASSP were a little more sound proofed and it was the same savings so ASSP it was. Then i realized more people liked pop and i have a friend that stayed there and it is supposedly newer and nicer so pop again.

Now I feel content i changed so many times and i am back to my original resort. I orignally
booked it at the end of Feb and i think i made a good choice.

ive done that for resorts.............i try to book mod, but then i decide we really arnt at the hotel much so we go back to all stars. im debating now with free dining. but , i dont know if we would want to HAVE TO be somewhere at a certain time. plus with me, i dont know about planning what i want to eat that far in advance. i know it sounds weird, but we eat simple, and i have to be in the mood for say chineese food, or whatever, and making all those plans. im lucky i can decide when to go and where to stay..haha .

For me, the resort is where I sleep and shower. So, I wouldn't worry too much about others reviews. If POP is not for you, than you never have to stay there again, and you've got money to put towards something else.

I didn't want any more people swayed into booking with free dining. I'm worried about it being more crowded. We went in 2003 at the same time and it was great. I'm worried with the offer extended more people will jump on the disney wagon.

I'm glad it was extended. I still haven't made up my mind.

But if they're people like us, who actually know what we're doing, the crowds shouldn't seem too bad. It's the crowds of clueless people who wander aimlessly, not knowing which way to go or what to do that really make the crowds seem bad.

At least, that's what I keep telling myself. . . .

we were the first group to go with the free dining deal in sept/oct 2005, the crowds were INSANE. We anticipated no crowds, wrong! Even the employees said that weeks prior to the free dining starting, crowds were so looooooooooooowwwwwwwwww! Is it worth it?
