who has never shopped on Black Friday???

I only started 2 yrs ago, every year before that I was working (retail). And the only reason I went was b/c I saw the Best Buy circular on Thanksgiving, and it had the exact present I was buying my DBF for 1/4 of the price.

It can be very scary to go out that day though!

I have not - Dont know why I would force myself to go to the mall on the busiest day of the year!

Probably not. I have been a few times but never again (if I can help it). Way too crowded, cranky people, upset children, etc.

This year, I'm decorating my house, putting up the tree, watching holiday movies and napping.

I have never shopped on Black Friday. I hate to be in a crowded places. Not worth it to me to get up early and try to beat the crowds to get the best deal.

I never went shopping on that day... till pattyt invited me one year. Now my mom and I go every year. Yes it's crazy, and there are lots of people. But that's what makes it fun!

I have never shopped on black Friday and have no intention of doing so. I am planning to go to WDW Friday instead.

There is nothing those stores have on that day that I need and can't get online somewhere in the comfort of my own home and jammies!!

I can raise my hand and say I'm with you. I don't shop on black Friday either. Now, I have been known to to the stores (particularly Hallmark) the day after Christmas.

I ran to Best Buy on my lunch break last year to find the 2 items I wanted on sale sold out. This year I will only go if I see something on sale really cheap

Never have, never will. It's like pulling teeth to get me in a store after Halloween anyway, and after seeing how bad the traffic was around my local Target today, I shudder to think what Friday is going to be like. It was a zoo--I was thankful all I was doing was driving by it!

I've never done it. We're usually guests at the ILs that day, so shopping doesn't work out for us.

One day I would like to give it a try...just so I have a first-hand opinion of what it's like (how good are the deals/how bad are the crowds). But, as long as we spend Thanksgiving in Jersey, I'll be sleeping in on BF.

never ever ever in a billion kazillion years would I shop on Black Friday. Back when DH was DF we used to do something. Go to the zoo, or theater, now that the DK's are with us we still do something fun, but NO SHOPPING, we will walk around Michigan Avenue, to get the excitement, but NO SHOPPING (did I already say that? ) This Friday we are going to see the Rockettes, can't wait.

I've never shopped on Black Friday and I try to have most, if not all, of my shopping done before December. I hate crowds. Also, a little prudent cost comparison on the the internet can usually save me a decent amount on gifts.

We usually put up our Christmas tree on Black Friday.
