Am I the only one who really digs "3 Caballeros" because...

I'm a big fan of the 3Cab movie, the attraction is a bit underwhelming to me. I loved If You Had Wings. :earsboy:

I like the inclusion of the characters but still keeping the 70s vacation promo videos. It's super cheesy but that's what makes it work.

I like it, but in the same vein that I liked Maelstrom (waaaaahhhh!!!) (and kinda similarly to why I like Tiki Room). I like vintage, nostalgia and i appreciate the sightly cheesy. But these old water boat rides also take me back to my younger days with The Cave at Six Flags Over Texas, so I'm just loyal to them in general ;)

That being said, some of the scenes on this ride remind me a little too much of the neon murals at the old Pancho's o_O

Always liked this ride. My DS loved the movie when he was a toddler (??? maybe because it's all a big frenetic acid trip) and watched it over and over and over, so now at 8 he loves it too. DH humors us.

I know this thread is about the three caballeros ride in the Mexico pavilion, but it made me really miss If you had wings and world of motion. #yearningformychildhoodhappiness

I never rode "Wings" or "Rio" so can't compare, but love Gran Fiesta for the song that makes me want to sing along and the village scene that reminds me of the dear old Fiesta Train at Six Flags Over Texas back in the day.

This is my 3 Caballeros t-shirt that I wore to bed last night because I read this thread yesterday. It's lime green and a Youth XL but fits like misses small. I think they still sell them.

I like the Gran Fiesta Tour but I prefer el Rio de Tiempo. The half naked men in the ancient Aztec section were gorgeous.

It's one of my favorite rides, but only because 3 Caballeros was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid. So for me it's nostalgia for the movie. I also love It's a Small World, which has a similar feel to me, but only when my mother has joined us on vacation because she HATES the ride. Apparently I'm still a rebellious 12 year old at heart, I get a kick out of it when she rolls her eyes and sighs and cringes through the whole thing, lol! She only rides it because my kids happen to love it and beg her to ride with them (with no coaching from me, I swear!).

Minority opinion: We love the pavilion, but we preferred El Rio Del Tiempo. Does anyone besides we super-fans even know who The Three Caballeros are?
My generation knows them. I grew up in the 80s, the movie played frequently on the disney channel back then.

I'm old enough I actually saw a re-release in the theater.
I'm just tired of everything becoming a movie tie-in. Especially at EPCOT, which was supposed to be a different kind of park.

I never experienced "if you had wings" but I love the 3 caballeros ride.

Totally underrated ride. On of my favorites, and a nice excuse to get out of the sun and cool down with a nice ride :)
