Am I the only one who prefers the single bath?

...or likes to be near the laundry, LOL?

Anyone else go against the tide on some of these things?

Sorry Linda, I guess it's just you! Maybe someone will give you support...

Whenever someone asks a "Is it only me?" question, I have a perverse desire to say "Yes!"

I agree with being near the laundry, but the single bath?? No way jose' ;) My wife is in the bathroom forever, spit baths are a MUST for this guy!! :smooth:

If it were just my DH and I, the single bath would be better for us because I like having the 'whole' bathroom in one room. BUT with the twins (DDs age 11), it is better to have the two bathrooms with two sinks.

I prefer being on the 5th floor near the Kids Clubs, so we won't be near the laundry, but I can see how it would be nice to have it close by. Again, maybe if it were just DH and I, being near the laundry would be something I would look at too.

Dont know if it is JUST you but we much prefer the double baths. Just did a Princess cruise and had 1 bath. Hated it. Love the Disney arrangement!

I refuse to do laundry on vacation - so being near the laundry room does nothing for me.

With two adults and two kids in our room - the split bathroom was a godsent

:( Starting to feel lonesome here...75K DISers and I'm the only one? Come on guys, help me out here...

P.S. I have twin DD and DS 7 too but can't seem to get them IN the bath :teeth: if anyone it's me who's the bath hog... ;) Also, we're not small people (but not huge either) and I thought it was a *pretty tight squeeze* on that toilet! :crowded:

Love the split bath...sorry...but I do like being near the laundry room.

Wait a couple of years when your DD discovers curling irons and hair spray! THEN you might like the split bath more. When we sailed the first few times (have gone once a year since the twins turned 7 on our first cruise), we had the single bath and it was no problem. As the girls have gotten older and more 'hair' conscience, the split bath works better for us!

You will be surprised how much thing change over the next few years!

You're not completely crazy, I am near the laundry rooms and I'm happy about it. I will probably only do a load or two, but thought it would be nice to pop in and see when it's not crowded easily and maybe iron something every once in a while. I would really hate to have to lug my laundry to another floor. I'm sure I would just have to pack enough and hope for the best if that was the case!

With 2 DD's, I prefer the split bath. Doesn't matter if we are near the laundry, just as long as we are on the "Mickey Boat".

No problem being near the laundry, we were 2 doors down.
But with 4 people in the cabin, the split bathroom was a dream come true. I have 3 bathrooms at home, so it was a longer wait on the ship than at home, but the two sinks especially were wonderful

DH and I just came back from a 3-day Carnival Fantasy trip, and we did not mind having the single bath at all. It seemed a little less claustrophobic to me.

A single bath, no way. I like the split baths with the 2 sinks. Laundry on the ship, wouldn't think of it, too lazy I guess. I would wear clothes multiple times before I was forced to do laundry. ;)

Split it the only way to go:space:

We had connecting room with two DD's next door and DW and me in the other.

We had four people and four bathrooms.

It was the best!!!!

I GOT MY OWN SINK!

That has never happened before in my life.

While I respect your opinions, your life choices and your political persuasion, for me, the split is the only way to go.
