I love going right in the middle of summer.. its soo much fun going in July!!

Nothing like the sun beaming on your face while your waiting in line :)

anyone else enjoy going in the summer :)

I think it depends on how often and how many times you've been.
I think in general those who have gone more than say 20 times, would prefer lesser crowds -- but that's just my guess.

:rotfl: :rotfl2: Yes, I believe you are the only one. :rotfl: :rotfl2: But if you ARE the only one, why is it so crowded? :confused3 :teeth:

Seriously though, the heat really gets to me. I felt so sick this past Saturday at Epcot. We were walking from Mexico to France, and suddenly I felt sweat pouring off of me, I was dizzy and nauseous and felt like I was going to pass out. A bottle of ice cold water and sitting on a bench with a chocolate crepe helped tremendously. :cloud9:

I think some people just handle hot weather better than others. My mom and sister love the heat. Give me 70 degree days and I'm happy. I'm much happier in a sweatshirt or light jacket than shorts and a tank top sweating to death. But that's just me.... :rolleyes1

As for standing in lines....no thank you. I would prefer walking onto a ride any day over waiting 60-90 minutes or more.

Umm...yes you are.

As for me, I enjoy other vacation favorites like wet snow on the ski slopes, shark warnings at the beach, mud slides while mountain climbing, and my boss showing up at the same resort where I'm staying. Mix it in with a few wind shears on the flight out, and you've got my ideal vacation. But please, no crowds at Disneyworld.

Actually last time we went there, the lines were short everywhere, but someone threw up while we were on Mission: Space.

Between that and long lines, I'll take vomit.

And, um, I think I would take vomit over long lines, too. :rolleyes1

I'm almost at 20 so I guess im just weird :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I guess if you were to ask if I'd rather have the entire park to myself or be there when it's busy, I'd have to say HECK YEA I'D TAKE THE PARK TO MYSELF. :rotfl2:

Who want crowds?

I guess since ive always been when its really crowded Im just used to it.. I think its kinda fun waiting in line for a hour and just wait and think about that you will be riding the ride soon kinda like taking in the moment of being there?

Ive just read so much on this board about avoiding crowds and going off season because of it.. just wondering if other people didnt mind the crowds! :) lol

I don't like the crowds but what I do miss it what the parks offer in the summer that they don't in the "off season", Spectro Magic every night, I know years ago it was also twice a night, I am not sure if they do that anymore - the park open later at night without an EMH and less attractions are down for refurb!

Just my opinion.

OMG! I think I'm your clone!! :earseek:

HATE heat! Get sick out in the sun if it's over 80 degrees....unless I'm lying down with a water spray bottle......in the shade......

LOVE the sweaters and the jackets and the.....moderately (40 to 60 degrees)cold!

My Mom and sister love the sun and the heat......go figure :confused3

And in terms of crowds, I would MUCH rather stay at home then go to WDW with huge crowds. :crowded:

Erinz - It is official! You are my long lost twin!!!

I don't think I'd like the really crowded times, but I have been a few times in the winter when it's been so dead that I've actually kind of missed it being busier!

::MickeyMo LoL. Probably! ::MinnieMo

I'd much rather go in the off season....

but if it's a choice between summer or not at all, then I'll take summer.

Heat ,crowds, and all.

I think I like a happy medium.. where it concerns weather AND crowds!
The one time I was there that it was freakin' freezing- I didn't like it much. We weren't quite prepared for it to be THAT cold and we're Texans- so it felt much colder than it probably really was. (it was 40 degrees or lower that day- and icey feeling winds all day- that's really cold to us! LOL) But I also do not like being in mega heat with lots of humidity standing in lines for rides. No way no how. When it's that hot and humid here- we head for the pools or waterparks! LOL

As for crowds- there has only been one solo trip I went on in Jan that was deadorama for the most part. It did feel kinda weird. I enjoyed getting on rides faster and maybe it would have been more enjoyable for me if that low crowd situation had happened when I was on a family trip instead of alone! But it was kinda weird--- doesn't mean I wish for mega crowds and 1-1.5hrs in line for every ride! No way no how! LOL

I prefer a happy medium... not too slow, not too busy, not too hot, not too cold. (I sound like goldilocks eh?)

I have been to the world in slow time and busy times and while I do like the less crowded times, there is just something awesome about being in a park that is filled with people. We went at Christmas in 2003 and the park was packed on Christmas Day and I loved every second of it!

No, that's me, too! That's probably why I live in Alaska :goodvibes

As a native Alabamian, I am used to heat and humidity...so I don't consider it a vacation when I have to be out in it. If you enjoy it..go for it! :flower:
