Am I the only one that does 8x10 albums?

I was looking at Scrapbook magazines today and every layout was for 12x12. However, I started scrapping before it became so popular and most of my supplies are for 8x10, I would hate to have to re-purchase paper, vellum, etc. Does anyone else do 8x10 albums. If so, where do you get your layout ideas from?

I started off scrapbooking with the 8x10 papers, cause that's what I found avaliable, but now do the regular 12x12 sizes. I was just thinking today of what to do with my 8x10 paper. I had just put my scrapbooking together with what I had and didn't have much layout ideas from anywhere.

I love scrappin 8x10- Ive done 3 books in 12 x12 and I really dont like it- As most of the paper is 12x12 I just slice off what I dont need and use the excess for accents etc

I also find it cheaper to buy plastic sheets/binders for 8x10 which is good cause I scrapbook lots and lots 10 day vacation will be 2 books...

I too use the 8 X 10 size. Everyone else at the crop I go too uses the 12 X 12. I get my ideas from online galleries. Also if I see a 12 X 12 design I like I just try to adopt it to an 8 X 10 page - most time I can make it work with just a few adjustments.

I've never seen 8x10 scrap supplies. Do you really all mean 8.5 x 11? I started with 8.5 x 11 ---- since that's what standard paper & standard sheet protectors & standard 3 ring binders are.

It took a while to switch to 12x12 but I like it better since the photo dimensions just seem to naturally divide into 12x12.

I started scrapping back in the 8 x 11.5 days too. I currently have 7 albums going, one for each niece and nephew. I find it actually easier to do the smaller pages, but it is probably because it is what I am used to. If I find a 12 x 12 paper I like, I too just cut it down and use the rest as accents. It is getting harder to find the smaller paper though. My 16 year old nephew is thrilled with his album. When we go any where, he is always saving things, like ticket stubs or other small mementos, for his album. Makes all the work worth it!
