Am I the only one? I get cold feet going to Swan in 2 days!!!

After reading all these wonderful reports about Swan and how great the staff and services are, I am getting cold feet. I am so afraid that I will set myself up for disappointment.

Before this, besides one 2-nght stay at DD Hilton, we always stayed at a Disney hotel, and I never looked into a hotel as much as I have with Swan/Dolphin. Now the trip is just around the corner, I started wishing that I did not read all these great reports, then I would have no expectations.

Anyone else feel this way?

I've never stayed at the WDW Swan but I bet you'll be very happy! My little boy is grown now, he was 7 when we started staying at the WDW Dolphin. I can close my eyes and see him running down the beach ball carpeted hallways. I've read everything I could get my eyes on about it for over 10 years and I've never been disappointed. Is that just me? Maybe. Is the flooding of family memories we've created pulling a silver lining around the real experience? Maybe, but hey, it works for us. It's not always perfect but almost!

Robin, thanks for the pictures. The room looks quite spacious, looks bigger than BC or YC. Great view at night.

At least my DH does not know anything about the hotel (he finally remembers where we are staying this time) nor my kids, so they will be happy no matter what. I will report back after our trip.

We just got back from 2 nights at the Swan and 5 nights at the BCV this past Sun. I LOVED the Swan! It was 1000 times better than our studio at the BCV in my opinion. I don't think you'll be disappointed at all! I am totally sold on the Swan now...I can't wait to stay there again
