I still have 57 days to go, and all I can do is think Disney !!

I am on this website and WDW.com all night long. As soon as I get home from work, I feed my DS and get right on the computer. Deciding on what restaurants to make priority seatings for, what Park we should go to first, etc. I check out Debs site, mousesavers, anything Disney. :cheer2:

I am making my DH and DS nuts !!!

Please let me know I am not the only Disney nut on this planet....... :confused3

Hehehe. I'm the same way. I still have 6 months and I have our whole trip planned. My family is excited but they are leaving most of it up to me. I just really need a vacation. :Pinkbounc

Crazy??....nah, you're just one of us now

Yep, 1:00 here. HMMMMM!!! I even know when the boards are down for upkeep!!!

I'm SUPER excited about this trip, it just kind of "sprung" up in conversation, but last October we went to 1900 Park Fair with my 39 year old sister and friend who HAD to meet Cinderella, well, DH really liked that meal and kept saying how he'd like to adopt a little girl for a day to eat there. Well, then my 8 y/o niece came up, well, that came to "casual" mention to my SIL, well, she sounded "positive", so that came to "serious" mention and to make a long story short, they're letting us take her OUT OF SCHOOL in November for a trip to Disney.

I had two boys, now in college, so can you imagine how excited I am to take A GIRL. Well, I've planned a morning at the spa for "My First Manicure" and "My First Pedicure" and a "facial" for me. One morning I've planned the "My Disney Girl Princess Tea", then "The Princess Breakfast", 1900 Park Fair for breakfast AND dinner. (We ate at the castle for breakfast last July when her whole family went with us, so I'm not doing that one again) Cape May Cafe breakfast, Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner, Whispering Canyon Cafe, and well, a couple restaurants we want to try and a couple of our favorites.

She's going to have to put up with the "Festival of the Masters", the "Food and Wine Festival" and the "Green Bay Packer Game" for us, but I think she'll handle that OK.

We're taking my 12 y/o nephew, her brother, to Colorado with us in August, for an "Ultimate Guy Vacation", with my youngest son (age 20, kind of like "his hero" type of thing), and I think he's going to love that too, Whitewater Rafting, playing poker, guy stuff.. They don't know yet, so we'll be seeing them in two weeks and I'm going to make up little invitations for them and give them to them at dinner.

Thier parents and us are SO excited to see their reactions!!! Well, I'm sure you can tell I'm just TOTALLY excited about this and, yes, I'm on here several times a day, reading, planning, and re-planning, and re-planning etc. Especially since I do Webpage Design, it's very easy for me to take a "DIS" break every once in a while.

Nope, not crazy...just a Disney-nut like the rest of us.

Our trip isn't until October & that's all we can think about over here too. I already have my August 2006 planned with ps in mind. Also trying to squeeze a Feb 06 trip out of my AP..I should just move to Florida so I can save on airfare!

Nah, not that crazy. We're crazy---we picked up & moved all the way across the country just to live near WDW (ok, so we have family here too, but Mickey's family as well!!), we're there at least a couple times a month, and I still get excited butterflies every time we go.

So, if you're crazy, I'm insane. :rotfl2:

no you are no nuts - obsessive maybe but not nuts. I did the same thing when I first found this site and we did the first BIG TRIP to WDW with and for my daughter. I was on here till 2 in the morning ...lol Now I come on every now and then when I have a trip coming up

you will get past it

if it lasts more then a year then get meds....lol

I'm obsessed too. I can only pull myself away from my "online planning" to talk to my sister about our trip or other friends and their upcoming trips. I'm already sad to be thinking about coming home, when I haven't even left yet!

When I called Disney yesterday, I enjoyed being put on hold just so I could listen to the Disney music (which actually makes me all teary, for some reason...). I was actually disappointed when the woman I was talking to came back to me!

The only cure for this illness is to actually be IN WDW...

Hi my name is Donna, and I am a compulsive dis'er. HELP...
Dh thinks I am wacked. MY butt imprint is in the seat at the computer table now. (when my butts not in it). Ok, GTG more threads to read.... :moped:

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. :sunny:

It is so good to know I am not alone. My Dh works evenings, so I can be online as much as I want without him even knowing how crazy  I really am. But here it is Saturday afternoon, he is home, and here I am back on the web, thinking Disney.

I guess I really should seek some sort of help, but the only cure I know of is to actually be at WDW.... :rotfl:

Only 57 days to go. :cool1:

Hi

My name is John and I to am a compulsive Diser also. :rolleyes1
We are going to WDW in Oct. We could not go all summer without any Disney so we booked a trip to DisneyLand. This is just the FIX I need. :earseek: . Now my daughter is counting down the days. Come on June!!!

Have a great day!!

John

My name is Michelle and I'm addicted to DIS. (Hi Michelle...) :wave2:
I too think I'm about ready for my padded cell (as long as it has Mickey heads on the padding...). Here I am, only going for 4 nights and it's all I think about! What am I going to do when the trip is over?!?!? Because of $$$$, our next trip probably won't be for 3-4 YEARS! :sad2: Yikes! I'm just doing all I can to get my fix NOW!

"Hi, I'm Debbie and I'm a Disney-a-holic". :earboy2:

I go to WDW every year. A month or so after I get back, I already start planning my next trip! It is non-stop Disney. The planning, the books, watching WDW shows on the Travel Channel. It's all a part of the obsession. I know I'm not in denial . . . and proud of it! :cool1:

Nice to have such a large group who shares the pixie dust! :flower:

Add me to WDW nut list!! I have been addicted since I joined this board over a year ago and I am spending even more time here now as I just booked my next trip for August. I used to wonder how people can go on trips every year. Now it seems I am trying to plan a trip every year. My 16 yo DS and I are seriously addicted since our first trip last august.

John

I should also add that we really like US/IOA but Disney far and away does it better!!

It definitely doesn't get better after you go...for me it got much WORSE!

But...when you're longing to get back and you know you have to wait...it's fun to at least dream about being there. This is a great outlet to do just that!

Sometimes it's almost PAINFUL to look at the photos, you want to be there so badly!!! ::MickeyMo

Hi-HO! My name is Bryan and I too am a Disney nut. All my friends, co-workers, or anybidy who is getting ready to go down to Disney always ask me for trip advice. They always want my suggestions.

Here's how bad I am. We will be there in 6 weeks and last night I went to the local Disney Store to get DW her Mother's Day gift. While there, I did get hersomething but I also bought myself a pair of Mickey shorts to wear when we go to the park. I felt bad for a moment then I said to myself,"Hey! The shorts cost less than $15. Where else am I going to get a pair of Khaki Mickey shorts for that price." So, I got them. ::MickeyMo :confused3 ::MickeyMo

All aboard for the Disney crazy train!

I don't get to go back until june 2006,yet here i am every night plotting the whole holiday down to a fine art.
My DD is going in 2 weeks (without me!) and he is constantly calling me for advice. So last week i landed on his doorstep with a bagfull of maps and photos, wearing my minnie ears!!! I announced myself as our family ambassador for all things Disney :rotfl:

That's why I come to these boards. I like being among my own "kind" of people! LOL Our trip is not until October, but I've got restaurants in mind and I've made ressies at POP and we've already got out plane tickets. I know I'd never make another 150 days without these boards and all the wonderful things I learn everyday!
