Yep, 1:00 here. HMMMMM!!! I even know when the boards are down for upkeep!!!
I'm SUPER excited about this trip, it just kind of "sprung" up in conversation, but last October we went to 1900 Park Fair with my 39 year old sister and friend who HAD to meet Cinderella, well, DH really liked that meal and kept saying how he'd like to adopt a little girl for a day to eat there. Well, then my 8 y/o niece came up, well, that came to "casual" mention to my SIL, well, she sounded "positive", so that came to "serious" mention and to make a long story short, they're letting us take her OUT OF SCHOOL in November for a trip to Disney.
I had two boys, now in college, so can you imagine how excited I am to take A GIRL. Well, I've planned a morning at the spa for "My First Manicure" and "My First Pedicure" and a "facial" for me. One morning I've planned the "My Disney Girl Princess Tea", then "The Princess Breakfast", 1900 Park Fair for breakfast AND dinner. (We ate at the castle for breakfast last July when her whole family went with us, so I'm not doing that one again) Cape May Cafe breakfast, Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner, Whispering Canyon Cafe, and well, a couple restaurants we want to try and a couple of our favorites.
She's going to have to put up with the "Festival of the Masters", the "Food and Wine Festival" and the "Green Bay Packer Game" for us, but I think she'll handle that OK.
We're taking my 12 y/o nephew, her brother, to Colorado with us in August, for an "Ultimate Guy Vacation", with my youngest son (age 20, kind of like "his hero" type of thing), and I think he's going to love that too, Whitewater Rafting, playing poker, guy stuff.. They don't know yet, so we'll be seeing them in two weeks and I'm going to make up little invitations for them and give them to them at dinner.
Thier parents and us are SO excited to see their reactions!!! Well, I'm sure you can tell I'm just TOTALLY excited about this and, yes, I'm on here several times a day, reading, planning, and re-planning, and re-planning etc. Especially since I do Webpage Design, it's very easy for me to take a "DIS" break every once in a while.
