It says when going through "Reservations" on DCL.com...

Using the pull-down menus below, enter the year and month in which you would like to take your cruise. Reservations can be booked for any month, from now through January 2006.

But when you choose one of these "new" dates, it says there are no vacation dates available. Does this mean they're working on adding them to the site right now???

I hope so! Come on, release December 17, 2005! ;)

I just realized, my wait is even longer now. We were planning on going July 2, 2005 but due to the temerature & price, we decided to go before the holiday. But, that's further away. :(

I understand the agony of your wait. :( I rebooked for a 4-day December 18, 2005. Maybe we could agonize over the wait together!

Californiadreaming - I am also anxiously waiting for July 2, 2005 - I believe it's western. Just curious how much and/or how many points. Even though I won't be booking til Aug. (11 month window) - I want to know how close price/points is with 2004.

I am SO glad I am booked on the Dec. 19th, 2004, four night cruise this year. I just checked the same cruise (Dec. 18th, 2005) for next year and the price has really gone up--and this is really early booking right now since they just become open for that date.

I was surprised the Dec. 19th cruise this year was considered value season since it is when school is out.

No 7 day cruises for September 2005 were available. You could click on them, but there is no information available for them at this time.

I think I figured out the July 2, 2005 Western would be near $8600 for two cat 6's (both double occupancy), and the December 17, 2005 Western would be around $5200 with the same cabins. :) DVC points are a lot for both cruises, I think we were looking at over 900 for the summer cruise.

Melody, lets start the countdown!

I think we are on all the same posts since we are waiting for similar cruises. As you can see from my countdown we are planning the 7-day right after you.

The odd thing is that DCL allowed us to confirm our cat. 3 and cat. 10 room for the 12/24/05 7-day eastern itinerary and even accepted my deposit for both rooms. We faxed in our requests over a year ago and they accepted our deposit just a couple weeks ago. We tried to add 3 more rooms to the reservation and now they are saying that they made an "executive decision" to not accept anymore reservations until the spring. Something is going on.....
