Am I reading the calendar correctly?

Please help! I am assuming by reading the Magic Kingdom calendar that the Extra Magic Hours from 11 Pm-2 AM begins on the day on which it is listed on the calendar. I am wondering specifically about August 19th.

Does it mean that the Extra Magic Hours begin at 11 PM on August 19th, and go til 2 am on the 20th? Or does it begin on the night of the 18th and go til 2 am on the 19th? Its just confusing because they list it BEFORE the parks regular hours that day.

the extra hours as for that day when they open the park. so the park closes at 11 pm on the 19th if you are not able to use the emh. if you are able then you get to stay till 2 am on the 20th.
