Am I paranoid?

This is my first time renting points from a DVC member and so far everything seems legit except they have not sent me a copy of the confirmation with our name on it which I have read is standard practice. I've asked for it twice. The DVC owner gave me the confirmation number but it was my understanding that member services will only talk to the DVC owner, not the renter. I have paid a lot of money through PayPal and I would like reassurance that the reservation that I've been paying for is indeed in my name. Any advice would be appreciated.
 
You will not be able to talk to Member Services and I hope you realized that before you began the process. Truly there is nothing you can do but wait, and or contact the Member to see why they have not sent you a copy.

Have they communicated to you why they have not sent the confirmation?
 
One possible explanation for the delay is that we don't usually receive confirmations right away. Most of mine seem to take 10-14 days to arrive. The owner may have nothing but the number.
 
Member Services gives the confirmation number over the phone when the reservation is made, but it has sometimes taken 2 or 3 weeks before I have received the written confirmation. When was the reservation made? If by chance the owner made the reservation in his/her name and then changed it to your name, he/she would have to wait for the new confirmation to be mailed.
