Am I out to lunch re: photopass?

I remember reading that there was no pre-pay discount for DL's photopass and that to purchase after would be approx $79. I am just back and the website says I can order my paltry 20 photos (we didn't encounter many photographers - I made use of EVERY one we DID find though!) for $124.95? Was I terribly mistaken before? Has the price totally changed? Talk me down please!

Maybe? I don't really know. That was the first time we used fastpass and I went to the photoplace in Greetings in DCA and asked the guy to combine the two cards we had and he asked if I wanted to purchase it and I did!

No as I bought my CD last week for $64 shipped. Order the CD should work.

Do you or did you have WDW photos in your account (either now or previously?). If yes, it's showing you the WDW price. You should be able to contact them. The DL price for the CD is $59.95 plus s/h ($5).

Definitely contact them, explaining exactly what the situation is (though you might want to leave out the pre-order stuff b/c that tweaks them b/c they think that you can only pre-order when you get a special invitation by email, LOL) and that you need the DLR price for the CD. Email works best (and fastest) b/c by phone you'll likely play phone tag, and email has an easier "record" of past conversations.

You've put your current pictures onto your account?

Have you gone through to order yet? If not, try that. When it "sees" that you're only ordering the DLR-based card's CD it might look different.

If it shows the WDW info when you go to order, well, I'm lost.


OOH OOH OOH I have an idea! Let me check my account first....

Oh drat. It's a no go. When you go to My Account, you can see all photopass ID numbers on your account (those numbers being there are how I can see what the DLR cost is). I was hoping you could delete those card ID numbers that were related to your WDW pictures, but I see no function to delete them. Drat!

I think that once you start the ordering process of the CD using the DLR card ID(s), you'll see the correct price.




But now that I think about it, I think maybe hubby will have the photopass account when we go to WDW, so I don't mess up what I can see on MY account.

And for anyone who does NOT want the edits, the price at the parks (take home with you) is probably the same, only they throw in a few prints.

Yes - if you order the PhotoPass CD, you print the photos at home (or bring them in to some place to get them printed, ie. Wal-Mart). You can also order prints from the PhotoPass site, but it's the CD that is $59.95.
