Am I nuts? A 2 day trip to DL?

Have you booked your hotel yet? Hojo's has the Entertainment Book rate available for those days, in fact those are the only 2 days that are listed for the whole month of June! I've never stayed there (though I have tried a couple times and it just didn't work out and I had to cancel) but folks on the D'land forum swear by it. It's a short - I guess that is relative - walk from there to the park.

Thanks for the info! I'm only looking to book 1 night, so I trying the find the cheapest option. It looks like all those good neighbor hotels along South Harbor Drive are closer the the entrance than CR is to the MK at WDW!

I have always considered Disneyland to be great for "visiting" and WDW great for vacation. You're gonna have a wonderful time!

The hotels on Harbor are unbelievably close. You literally walk across the street. There are also cheap eats on Harbor.

Don't miss Splash and Pirates at DL, they're very well done.

What's funny, my only other time to Southern California was only for 2 days as well, just to ride roller coasters! It was the American Coaster Enthusiast's annual convention (back in 1994), I got off the plane and went right to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Any other ACE'ers on the boards?

Not an ACE'er anymore, but I was at the 1994 convention :hyper: That was also my first visit to Disneyland :hyper:

Motel 6 is about 55 a night and it's great if you're just needing a place to sleep. If you want something a bit nicer, HOJO of course, but there's also Fairfield Marriott for about 110-120 a night.

Definitely hit up Nemo first - I went early one morning since I was staying onsite and still had a 45 minute wait. I never did get to do the Matterhorn but it was spring break so everything was really busy.

It was just for yesterday unfortunately. I found out about it because it was the most-emailed story on boston.com.
I booked my flight with only 2 hours to spare!

Dang! :headache:
I was thinking of terrorizing
the west coast for a bit.
