Check for new post since my last visit?

I have to browse each category and there are tons and tons of new topics :rotfl: Is there an easier way to keep track?

You can check out the threads the you posted to by clicking on "UserCP" on the upper left as long as you have your account set up to add a "subscription" when you post. You can set that up over on the UserCP page too by clicking on "Edit Options". I have my "Default Thread Subscription Mode" set to "No email notification" so I don't receive an email everytime someone posts to a thread that I am subscribed to.

To read New Posts since your last visit, simply click on the "New Posts" link in the upper middle of the page.

Welcome!! Fair Warning: the DIS will suck hours of your life away. :rotfl: Seriously, this is a really fast moving board; especially the community board. If there are threads that you're interested in I would suggest subscribing to them so that you can find those easily. You can do this when replying to a topic, under "Additional options" at the bottom of the reply page. Or if you're not replying, look towards the top of the page where it says "thread tools" and click "subscribe". I suggest doing "no email notification" because otherwise you could get swamped with emails. If you do it this way, there will just be a checkmark next the thread so you can find it easily.

Thanks :thumbsup2

I post on another board too but they are are local moms to me and I rarely miss anyones posts :rotfl: so this blew me away when I click new and there are oh so many. :lmao:

Thanks for the tips:thumbsup2 :cool1:

I have been checking via user CP.

I belong to a mom's group too with fewer than 30 members. While I love and cherish that group, the DIS is completely different. If you have some random question about something--anything--post it here and you'll have 10 people responding in a matter of minutes. I post pretty much only on the community board just to get in my "adult conversations" of the day. The other boards are great for trip planning but the community board is just a great place to come to talk, ask questions and debate. :cool2:

For me, all the new posts are bolded, the threads with no new posts are just regular, non bolded.
