is this news to others? Tomorrow, Mickey's 75th anniversary celebration there are going to be 75 statues of Mickey like over 5 feet tall in front of MK all designed by famous people. I saw one from by Doris Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond) and her's is Lady and Tramp/spaghetti themed. Regis and Kathie's is Statue of Liberty themed. Jamie Lee Curtis is computer keyboard, mouse and CD ROM themed. Tom Hanks had one. Some famous people I didn't recognize their names. :ashamed: :o

We weren't allowed to take pics today but they said tomorrow we could. I can't wait :bounce:

Are they near the lake, in front of the turnstyles before you go in or actually inside the park? Seems like 75 statues would get a bit congested with security check points, etc.

Great link. The article states t "The statues will be on display until April, then tour the United States and be auctioned off for charity. "

anyone have word on the tour route?

Thanks
Sandy

WELL, I'll post when I get back home tomorrow

some of the images show hidden Mickeys. I was told there is a Hidden Mickey on each and every Mickey Statue. I found it on a few of them. The ones where I have a "back" of a statue is for seeing the HM I discovered.
Can anyone see any of these?
