I've been seeing a lot of post both here and on Facebook where ppl put the day and time of their ADR's. With the stories I've read about ppl getting to their dining reservation to find that someone else has taken (stolen) their ADR, it seems to me that it would be unsafe to put the day and time of your ADR because someone could possible walk up and say that they are you and essentially take it. On prior trips I don't recall being asked for my ressie number I usually gave just my name if I recall. I've seen ALOT of post for BOG FP lunch which is hard to get and I just think anyone who is not so honest can do as they will with the info you post. Unfortunately all Disney Addicts (LOL) aren't honest so you have to protect yourself from such...any thoughts?

Although I find this highly unlikely :confused3 , most people on here have a user name not their real name. :)

Most people on forums aren't posting their names though (well maybe their first names, but I would imagine the host or hostess would want the full name). Plus, it would have to be someone who's going to be there at the same time and have the same party size, not to mention the fact that they would be showing up at the same time as the person who actually has the ADR.

And if they're posting on facebook that they are going/gone on vacation, they should be happy that a stolen dinner ressie is all that happens! It always shocks me when people do that and announce to all the world that their home is unguarded. Post your pictures after you get home!

Could you imagine checking in to your reservation and having them say you're already there? Funny, but not funny.

I honestly think it's fine on here!

The group that I joined on fb...they actually have a running list of the dates and resorts that's ppl are staying who they're traveling with and all. It really makes me nervous and I just want to shake them through my computer lol
