My 10 year old son does a naked version of the can-can dance almost every morning when he gets out of the shower for my wife. He does this with a towel wrapped on top of his head. My wife laughs with him every morning when he does it (he will not do it in front of me ). At 10, he is neither modest nor does he understand the sexual implications of his dance. He has been doing this for a little over a year, off and on.

I guess that we are perverts for allowing this to happen. I mean, if I did it in front of my wife, it would have a very different meaning, so it must be just as sexually explicit when my son does it (did I mention that he is naked when he does the dance?).

Oh yeah, and my son must be destined to become a pole dancer or to knock up some chick (probably one of these little girls) by age 15.

I guess one BIG difference is he is not doing it for an audience and it is not posted on youtube.

If they were thrusting and grinding with occasional finger licking, yes, it would be inappropriate. If they were swimming and building sand castles, they would be fine- although I would hope they were wearing lots of sunscreen.

They are dancing provacatively at 8 years old.... Their role models (parents) are showing EXTREMELY poor judgement. What do you suppose they will be doing at 15?

I'm totally with the BamaFan here (although not on his choice of college teams, however.). I thought the little girls were super cute, having fun and dressed in contemporary dancewear. What should they be wearing? Long johns? And yes, I have raised a daughter now in her early 20s. She was a competitive gymnast for years and they wore leotards WITH NO TIGHTS!!! And so far, no pole dancing or jumping out of cakes. As far as the naked 10 year old dancer, go for it, buddy. You only live once.

I find it far more disturbing that people want to make something sexual out of EVERYTHING.

It is sick how it is mostly men (even husbands that don't post, but are shown the video) that are vehemently defending the dance as no big deal that semi-naked little girls bumping and grinding while licking their fingers.

Although I think that you are a troll trying to get a rise out of others, I will attempt to explain something to you…..

As a mother that also has a 10 year old boy that, like your son, is not neurotypical, I want to gently tell you that it is our responsibility to guide our children towards appropriate behavior.

Saying that your developmentally challenged child dancing the Can-Can every day for his mother whilst naked is a “fun thing” is irresponsible. As a parent, it is our job to point out what is not acceptable for a child his age.
