Am I crazy??

We are going back home in March! Am I crazy when I say I am not looking forward to it because it will be over too soon?? I can't wait to go but I also don't want it to come because it will end too soon! Do i need to check myself in somewhere??

I am exactly the same way. Can't wait for the trip to get here, then before you know it, it's over. Our last trip, I constantly reminded myself to live for the moment, not to rush, not to hurry, just enjoy that moment. It still went too fast. I am now planning our August trip and again I find myself dreading it because I know that all too soon it'll be over!!! What are we to do???? Maybe someday I'll be able to go twice a year and not have to worry anymore!! LOL

I, too, totally understand how you feel. But I am trying to push that "bad" thought to the back of my mind and focus on the excitement of counting down! 34 days!!!

On our last trip, which was our first in a long time and first with our children, I desperately tried to get in as much as possible by RUSHING through a lot of things. The night of our MNSSHP, we didn't even stop to see the fireworks because "come on folks, it's the best time to not have to wait in line for this ride." I really could kick myself. But, I was on a mission as I was weaving in and out of folks who had stopped to enjoy the moment.

So, we're going again soon. This time we're staying longer and if we have to use the last six days on our 10-day tickets, then so be it. We are taking our time and savoring the moment. I'm even more relaxed about the planning this time because I know with a little planning and know-how, it will all just come together.

I can't wait to get back there.
