Think of a short 3 night trip next week (6-9) or the 11-14. Am I crazy? We are from SC so we are used to heat and I’ve been in September. I have an AP and was last there for Mardi Gras. I’m just worried about lines ( will have express passes for two days).

We'll be there in a few days. Often are in Orlando in June. IT's hot as Hades. We are expecting crowds and lines, even lines for bathrooms, food, and butterbeer. just plan around that. We eat at off times, and try to find some places to cool down after lunch, mid afternoon, head back to parks in the evening. Still super fun! just plan accordingly. Hope y'all have a great trip!

We always go at the end of May to early June - have been there as late as June 10, and while busy, if you plan you can make it work, esp with the express pass, though I have read some recent inconsistencies. We are arriving Thurs through next Thurs with EP's for all the days, and from our experience in the last several trips, we have not had issues with EP's during June. We make reservations for restaurants we want to eat at, since we tend to eat at normal times, and such but that is just us. :) Go and have fun! I would aim for the earlier dates, the later in June, the busier it gets!

Where I live many of the schools don’t release for summer break until the 8th. may have a bit lighter crowds that week.

other than 4th of July there (seriously, packed, worse than WDW IMO), don’t really think the summer crowds are all that bad if you have EP.

have read threads with people complaining about longer than usual wait times with EP. My thot on that is, it can just be bad timing. If I do so an EP line of 30 minutes, I skip it and head to next one on my to-do list. It has always worked out well.

enjoy your trip

You have express passes? What are you worried about? You know heat. You’re not crazy.

i just usually only go early October or February. I survived Disney late October last year. So happy to be back in my favorite place. Portofino and aventura. never stayed at either. Looking forward. Since I’m a second year AP holder any tips? I’ve done all the rides. This may be a laid back what else is there?

since our schools don’t release until mid-June, we always go in summer. This is our first Universal trip, but we’ll have EP so hoping we can get it all in during our 3 days there
