Am I crazy to try this?

We (3 adults) are not very interested in AK, and only want to do 2 rides (KS and Lion King). So, we're planning on heading over there 1 morning. I don't envision that taking much time. So, can we then hop over to Epcot (world showcase) and wander around a bit and then take the monorail over to the MK for EMH? Can 3 adults graze 3 parks in a day? (We have another whole day at Epcot scheduled and a whole day and another evening at MK scheduled.)

Three adults . . . I don't see why not!!! I think that once you get to Animal Kingdom you will want to see way more than just those two things!!! I LOVE AK!!! Have you ever seen DeVine?!? :earseek:

Absolutely! We have done this type of thing several times (even with kids in tow). It's easiest if you begin at a park with EMH to do your few favorites and then head over to a different park. We almost always end up at a third park in the evening after we've had a short break from our second park. Have fun! :mickeybar

This April my BF and I are going to Animal Kingdom in the morning just to do the Safari and maybe some trails and then heading over to Magic Kingdom for the rest of the day. I definately don't see if being a problem!

You could do it, but my feeling is that you'll end up being in AK longer than you think.
There's a whole bunch to see and do.

You should have no problem doing the parks in one evening. My DW, In-Laws and her niece have done 3 parks in one day AK, EPCOT and MK. My advise, got for it, but still take your time and smell the pixie dust.

DH, DS12 and I did 3 parks 1 day this past Oct. DH wasnt feeling well the days DS & I went to MGM & EpCot. The day we were at MK he was feeling better. DH wanted to try Space w/me and get back to RnR so we went to those parks too mostly for those rides.

before Oct we were last in WDW 12/02 and we're going back this August

I don't think it would be a problem. I'm not a big AK fan either, we would normally not spend more than a morning or an afternoon there. This trip, I planned to go longer since I'll be with people who have never been there. We're going on an evening EMH day. So I figure we'll sleep in a little that day, be at AK by 11 or so. And if we need to, we can stay for EMH.

Three parks in one day is definitely do-able, especially if there are only a couple things you want to do at one of the parks. Question though...have you been to AK before? I cannot imagine going there and not seeing ITTBAB or going on the Dinosaur ride! If you have never been to AK before and are only planning on seeing/doing 2 things I think you are short changing yourself! A lot of people underestimate AK. It is a great park!

I think it would depend on what time the first show of Lion King is scheduled at.

You can definitely do it - I have done it - and with kids - but sometimes we are just a real ambitious group.

Head right to the Safari's and grab a show schedule on your way...the first show for Lion King is usually in the 9:45 time range I believe. If you don't hit it you could hit the next one for sure.

This should be no problem. Disney's transportation services are amazing. Although, you may need to first transfer to a hotel before being able to catch a ride to one of the parks. Often times, you can't hop from park to park. Be sure to use the monorail from Epcot to the Magic Kingdom, it is very quick, fun, and easy.

I think it is doable. I wouldn't because of the time lost in transit, but it certainly could be done!!! (especially without little ones)

Your plans are doable, but you may want to stay in AK longer than you think. I always thought it was a boring park with nothing to do there, but I was mistaken. There is a lots to do and lots to drink in.

When we first went to Ak we only intended to be there for a couple hours -WOW I was way off - We LOVED AK - it turned out to be one of our favorite parks and I would definately take a whole day to stay there.
