ok so every one remembers how i was gona be going to wdw for my bday

well we just found out the dinning is free up till my sons bday *winks* still get the bday card (69 or something)
we are checking just to see what we would need.
wed go between sep 27 or 28 till oct 4th. We would upgrade the dinning to the deluxe an get what we wanted to do in dl.


But my dh is saying its how we will get there that is the trouble. airplane an there not cheap.
so far ive figured we have 450 from the bus, an the rest the hotel from DL.

I'm so not sure what to do even my son's like (but mom i want to go back to wdw )lol

(the house stuff didn't work out so all my planing going to Disney an my money just need to find it all perfect. Found a deal for 625 for me dh an son on airline but I don't know if they will have it again i saved the site.

Im just confused an want advice from my Disneyland friends what would you do or do any of you know good way from phx to Florida.

my dh wishes they had the free dinning in nov so we could go for my bday lol

I would go in a heart beat. You get free diing which is over $50 a day for two people if you are careful. They haev the magic express bus to take you to your resort and lots of nice buses. Trust me that I deal alot on line with disabled WDW travellers and you will have a wonderful time at WDW.

There are plants and flora, wild animals and fishies to see, food from around the world, wild roller coasters and tame kiddie rides, not to mention the food. If you study you can get a cheap onsite hotel for about $50 to 80 a night and sometimes can get some AAA or other discounts. There are discount fares available through online sites and travel agencies, check the budget board for tips.

How could you turn down free pretzels, waffles, cookies, cakes, pies, steak, chinese food, and popcorn. GO

well the hotel id have to chose is the movie one for the package thing.
But i still need to find a cheap way there (i thought about bus train or plane.)

also for those who fly? do we need our passports or will our state id work?

Jade, you only need a passport if you're leaving the country so your state ID will be fine for your plane ride. See, I'm having this same problem....I'd LOVE to go for free dining, we've never done WDW, BUT plane flights for 4 are insanely outrageous so I just can't make myself book it.....yet.....LOL If you can make the numbers work for you then do it, if not then just stick with your DL trip.

Seriously if you look you will be very surprised what prices you can find on flights these days! Friends went from LA to NYC for under $200, I went to England last minute for a little over $600 the tickets are there if you know where to look!

First I would see who has a base/hub in Phoenix, some airports are more commonly flown by certain airlines and they will have more flights and better prices out of those airports.

Once you know who has the most flights check their sites! I have to say I am shocked how often the actual airline website has better deals then those "discount websites".

Be flexable if you fly at less desireable times you can often get much better deals.

I would check Southwest and Jet Blue first. I see some good deals on Southwest but you would need to check your dates.

We are hoping to get in a day or two trip to WDW for DH's birthday. Wish we could do more (sometimes ) but we have to visit family and I think MIL would be mad if I keep the new baby from her for more then that

Have you tried Southwest? I was able to get 6 plane tickets for just over $800 from Denver to San Diego.

I would do it! I LOVE WDW!!! If we weren't already going in dec I would go again in sept...trying really hard NOT to book another trip just for FD! It is such a great deal!


Looks like your cheapest airfare is 244. which is cheap! We are lucky to get something for less than 400 per person here...usually about 600 each.

we have managed to come up with deposit in few months an we are thinking about it, earthier way one one or the other Halloween or Christmas. Tho we are also hoping wdw made nov-dec free dinning too we will see.

tho if we do wdw then dh calls dl for his bday in feb 2011

I would so do WDW if we haven't already booked the airline, train, and hotel on top of the military DL tix are non refundable. The plane tickets are more going to Orlando of course but with free dining, it pretty much balances out, ya know??

Looks like you have some decision making to do, what ever you guys do you will have a blast!!!!

It'd be great if you could make it work! We'll be there 10/1-10/10 ~ the 1st & 10th will be travel days. We're staying at Pop! My mom will be with us (her B~day is 10/7)

Jade ~ as long as you check in by 10/3 you get Free Dining for all of your visit.

We should be able to get airfare as low as $99 each way on Southwest, but we'll change planes at least once. For a bit more we could fly straight there on Delta ~ a 4 and a half hour flight!

Check out the Disney Dining Plan board ~ most would say the deluxe plan is way too much food and you'll be tied down to too many table service restaurants.

well i called an here is what ive got

1- i cant do anything till june
2-ive got hojos for dl saved (keep it just incase)
3 they says the special at wdw might be sold out soon
4 if they had free dinning in nov-dec wed know by mid june
5 if we just did dl then its not so bad we still get everything we want an have a lot of fun.

ya an then well hell if they happen to have the (Christmas free dinning ) then we would talk about switching i mean I'm not paying for anything for dl till mid sep By then i would know if wdw had there Christmas special. )

Oh ya, I hear ya. Gotta get the most bang for your buck. Just keep watching and see what comes up. There have been some great specials for WDW this year.
