Am I crazy or is TGM not remotely up to date right now

I have been a TGM subscriber for many years - love the best parks by day even though I could probably figure it out from history.

I have my TGM set up for a trip next year but now am taking one sooner so I went to look and there are no updates for even now. Anyone know what's up? I emailed last Sunday but no reply yet.

TGM has not been a reliable source of info for several years now.

I have used it as recently as October with no issues but seems to have stopped completely ;(

What are other sources for parks by day - that's all I really use.

EasyWDW.com and Touring Plans are by far the most popular two.

TGM was barely up to date when they were actually making an effort. The owner apparently abandoned all intentions to maintain the site long ago & he should remove it.

I thought it was very out of date back two years ago, so I've been using Touring Plans instead. Very accurate info.

The site has not sold subscriptions for several months and is no longer being updated. It should be completely going away in the next several weeks.

Mike stepped away from the site some time ago due to serious ongoing medical issues. He apologized to the members as he left. A couple of people who worked with him on the site helped limp it along for a while after he left, but the site clearly needed more time and energy than they were able to give. The forums really were the only active part of the site for the last several months and the site is now supposed to be *officially* dead, but I understand that some people have been able to still log in. Most of the forum old timers caught the last raft out and have a private board to communicate.

I am sorry that people have not had the experience they thought they were going to have with TGM. I think the situation was difficult on everyone and I don't know how it could have been handled to everyone's satisfaction. I can't imagine it was easy on Mike and I feel bad that I have seen people dump on him a bit on other threads discussing the site. I now use EasyWDW for my planning and still apply much of what Mike taught me. In its day it was a user friendly place without a lot of the drama that seems to come in cycles on other sites.

I hope the OP can find the information they are looking for at one of the now recommended sites and has a great trip!

The decline is very sad. Due to everyone's help on the Forums, my family had an absolutely amazing trip in June, 2011. We literally waited for only one attraction that entire crowded, sweltering week. It was awesome! I continue to be so grateful for all I learned there.

Back in the day, TGM was an easy, helpful way to plan complete with explanations as to "why" those planning choices should be made. I planned several trips as a subscriber with great results. Mike was extremely active and involved with his members and would even answer questions personally. I once contacted him and received a personal email back from him. It is very sad that life challenges came to be the end of that was once what I felt was THE site to use to plan WDW. ETA does anyone know if he still has his VIP touring service Michael''s VIP not planning on using it couldn't afford it anyway but just was curious I know he hosted several celebrities when he was on top of the touring plan world.

I also found TGM to be a terrific resource. He taught me a lot about tour planning.

I find it sad that he hasn't been able to continue working and wish him a full recovery!
