Am I correctly understanding using two different UY's points for one reservation?

I have a Oct UY for AKV (160 points) - would like to add on via resale but there aren't many OCT UY resale contracts available.

If I got an Aug UY add-on for say 50 points....

If I wanted to make a reservation for Nov 2013 that required 210 points - could I use the 2013 Oct points (160) + the 2013 Aug points (50) for that reservation, the same way I could if I had 210 Oct UY points?

Not exactly. You can transfer the points from one contract into the other and then you can use them seamlessly ... OR ... you can reserve as many nights as possible using the 50 point contract and as many nights as possible using the 160 point contract and MS will link them together into one stay where you would not need to move. Using banking and borrowing you can easily do this without the need to transfer. Either method would work though.

Good luck! :)

Different use years mean two completely separate memberships, thus two separate reservations and points from both memberships could not be mixed for any one night of the reservation...unless you use your once per use year transfer privilege to transfer points from one membership to the other.

Also two separate banking/borrowing windows.

We have a larger Sept UY and a smaller Dec UY contract. This is exactly what we do each year with our Dec points.
