Am i all alone in Sept 9,2006 on the magic western

:wave2: Hi all me again,
Does anyone know If you can check your bags and get your boarding passes for your flight back home at the Port (upon return of course). I'm flying TED which is United, if I was staying at WDW hotel they would let me check my bags and I would recieve my b/pass then I would only need to take myself and my carry-on to the airport and go through security with no hassels at all.

If they don't I'll just have to drive to the CBR and check them there.

As always thanks alot and see you when we see you,

Very excited and ready to go. Just picked up a cooler for the trip. I have the pets all arranged. All I need now is the trip to get here. It's these last few weeks that are going to kill me. :hourglass :hyper: :snail:

Our docs just made it yesterday out here in CA (we also booked w/DU). :bounce: party: :bounce: I guess this means we're really goin' cruisin'.

Just as a side note: My DH works at the airport, and yesterday they de-planed a whole plane because someone had brought on a bottle of something to drink (he didn't know if it was water or soda). All of those people had to get off the plane, and heve their bodies and luggage searched by hand before they could get back on. Just in case you're thinking about it... I guess that means that Tracy will need to ask the flight attendant for her water.

If Tracy can go :guilty: :sad2: Still no documents. If they are not there when I get home, I'll call DCL and find out when they were sent then call the TA. Maybe I'll get my 11 night docs (DU is TA on that one) first :confused3

I'll be calling the airline this week. I may have to suffer through the first flight but that one is only 1/2 hour.

My DH called yesterday, only to find out that they'd been sent out on 8/17/06 - and they were at the house by the time I got home. Somehow, I remember them being a larger packet (last July when we sailed the Mexican itinary) and they changed the luggage tags.

I'm sure that if you explain your situation to the flight attendants, they will be able to get your water. I'm sure they would rather do that than be de-planed.

Hoping your documents are home when you are...

Thanks! The first plane doesn't have a flight attendant, just a pilot (I said it was a small plane). One seat on each side of the aisle. I want to get there so if I have to deal with it for one flight, I'll be ok (but I might go through my entire pack of gum :rotfl: )

Don't worry too much. The first cruise we did was through a TA. I don't think we saw the tickets until less thank 2 weeks out. Just to be safe, I'd still call DCL. You HAVE to go with us, youre in the wine club!

Thanks! I'll call them tomorrow. No documents today. I met the UPS man at the end of the driveway. I knew he had one package. Told him I hoped there were three packages. He said no. I said "you'll be back then -- soon!" :lmao: :rotfl2:

What kind of cruise would it be without someone that goes by Winotracy. I agree with Seedoken, you must go.

Thank you :)

I called DCL -- docs mailed 8/14. Called the TA -- docs received 8/17 and sent out by regular mail 8/18. Should get them any day now :woohoo:

I guess that means I can stop looking for a rolling cooler capable of fitting 2 adults?

Too cool. My DD loved Pirates, I had a feeling it would be showing, but I did not want to get her hopes up. Now I can!!

CaptChris, thanks so much for checking.

Since our DD is only 3, we haven't been to see POC2 yet. I'm really looking forward to it. Anyone want to do a movie night?

Can't wait to see POC and maybe Finding Nemo on the Dumbotron! We have never seen a movie on the ship. We plan to change that this time.

We haven't seen POTC 2 yet either. I couldn't justify paying $50 bucks to take the family to the cineplex when I can see it for "free" on the ship. We also held off seeing Cars as well. Now if only I knew that Chicken Little would still be on the cruise...I would have saved that money last Christmas!!!!

I can't wait. Haven't seen POC2 yet either. :cool1:
My DS loved Cars so maybe he will get to see it again. He will be happy. Who am I kidding, my DH will be happy. He missed parts of it taking my DD and DS to the potty.
