Special thanks to Jennifer who let us know there was a well-established thread for our 9/9 voyage. We never thought to search for "Am i all alone..." but are thrilled to see there are lots of other Disboarders sailing with us.
My partner Will and I are sailing in the midst of our WDW stay. We'll be arriving at DSSR on 9/8 for the evening before joining the ship the following day. Afterward, we're returning to DSSR for three more nights. As former Florida residents, we're happy to not be running to the grocery store and The Home Depot in preparation for the season's first major storm. We are, however, keeping our fingers crossed that the storm passes without damage or injury to anyone in its path.
Reading back through the thread, it would seem there have been a few questions discussed to which we can contribute our answers. We'll be celebrating our 6th anniversary with this trip and our first trip back to FL since we moved to TX last November (to pursue career opportunities that broadened our horizons). We're on DK7 Aft and this is our 2nd voyage together, but our first together on the DM. We're DVC Members with our home resort at DSSR. Last summer, we used our Membership to stay in Key West for a week in August.
We're booked for second seating and booked brunch for Sunday morning before we arrive in Key West, dinner in Palo for Thursday night, and cabana massages at Castaway Cay. We're not much into shore excursions and prefer to sightsee unguided.
We look forward to meeting the rest of you before/online and during the voyage!

and congrats on making it to 6 years! The Magic should be a great place to celebrate an anniversary (we can compare notes afterwards, since we're celebrating our 5th 
).
(ok, last week we went left and now we go right, right?) 
The only way we could do two cruises was to go inside for the 7 day. Doesn't really matter port or starboard, just wondering if David would be a close neighbor or not, since we're doing brunch together 
just kidding.
