AM EMH & fastpass??

When there is AM EMH at a park (im thinking specifically DHS) are the FP machines on starting at the beginning of AM EMH or do they wait to turn them on until regular opening?

I think sometimes the answer is "depends on the ride, depends on the day"... so if Im talking a peak summer day... say Mon Jun 28 at DHS for example?

That's the answer regardless of the time of year.

Figure the earliest Return Time for the earliest FP's given out will be 30-40 minutes (so within the AM EMH.)

Sometimes the earliest Return Time can be 60-65 minutes later (or just outside the AM EMH time.)

If the attraction is open, and it is using FP that day at all, usually the FP kiosks are open during EMH.

I have been noticing lately that for AM EMH, first FP return times are also set 60 minutes out from the EMH opening. Not always though.

I have also noticed that when I was at the parks for AM Extra Magic Hour.

I know Im gonna sound like Im complaining here, but I think this is kindof ridiculous! You are in the park early, with NO lines practically for anything, it seems like an unnecessary added bonus to give them access to FPs too!

I am usually a resort guest and attend EMH, but this time we stayed off property. We were some of the first people through the gates at DHS for regular park opening (AM EMH had been going on for an hour already) and when I booked it to TSM the return time was 2:10-3:10... AT 9AM!!! Thats a bit excessive! So... all the people who got to ride without waits in the AM EMH ALSO now have FP to ride again that day, when all the ppl that get there at 9am have to wait till 2:30!!! We actually didnt get to ride at all as we had to leave the park by 2pm to catch our plane.

I just wanted to vent. I think this is completely unfair! There are plently of perks to resort guests already. Leave the machines off until regular park opening.
