Just wanted to pass along a little advice that I'm sure most of you already know....

If you don't get the resort you want keep calling! Over the last 3-4 days I've been calling CRO a couple of times a day asking for availability. I finally learned to use *67 so they wouldn't badger me about how many times I call. Anyway, today when I called almost every deluxe had availability (except CR) for our dates (first week of Nov.) Just yesterday they only had like 3 options to give me, then all of the sudden this afternoon they had everything! Even WL, which has been completely booked for weeks. It's amazing how much things can change.

So don't give up!!!

The funny thing was that even with all that new availability this afternoon we decided to keep the YC reservation that I made this morning. Even though we could have gotten WL for about $200 less for the four nights.

first off, imho... YC is well worth the extra $200 over the WL!

I know exactly what you mean! the availability seems to change from one minute to the next!

What do you mean by *67? How does that work? I don't call that much but I would like to know. Thanks in advance.

Our phone has a feature that when you dial *67 first, then the #, your call comes up "unknown" on the other person's caller id. I found out CRO has caller id the other night when I called and didn't enter my phone # and they still called me Erika. They said it was a new system. So today I dialed *67 first and they didn't know it was me calling. I got much better service because they didn't know about my old ressies that I didn't keep and the ones I had cancelled... they just checked the availability without all the other questions. I just like to get down to business and not have to rehash the details of my other ressies.

When you call to get a better rate or better availibility, have you already made a reservation for the less desireable choices and you cancel it????? Does it matter who the reservation is through? I have a friend who booked recently who ahd a rough time with availibility and if he is able to change, I'd like to let him know if it is an option.

I've changed reservations many times in the past and never had a problem. They just transfer the deposit over to the new resort. I'd tell your friend to keep calling back until he gets the resort he wants. It changes 100 times a day!

I was looking for ap rates. I think all the discount codes are over until the new one that starts on Nov. 3rd.

So they did have AP rates available? I was trying today for Mid-November and they only had the AS and PO.

They had ap rates today for early November at all resorts except AS Movies, CR, and POFQ. I was really surprised because all week they had been telling me no value, no moderate, no WL, no AKL, no Poly....
I guess it just pays to keep calling.

The funny thing is I always thought morning was the best time to call, but they had more options this afternoon than they did this morning.

I think we're set now. YC is going to be it! No more calling for me! LOL

Ive been calling everyday for about 4 weeks to switch from AKL to one of the MK resorts and no luck. I need the dates of Nov 8- 11th and I was wondering what dates you were able to get? Thanks alot
