Hello all!! Just wondering if there are any alumni here? I just did my interview yesterday, and if i get in it would be my 2nd time. So all alumni out there, when was your program and what was your job?

Spring Advan 2011 and i worked at DTD westside

Hey! My son is an alumni. Since he usually doesn't read the boards, I guess I'll answer on his behalf. His phone interview is scheduled for next week. If he gets in, this will be his 2nd time also. He really really wants to go back!

I did fall 2010 (Custodial- FW EPCOT) and Spring 2011 (Attractions- Disney Quest) I had my phone interview on Tuesday, now im just waiting to hear back

Fall 2011 QSFB at ABC Commissary. I miss it so much. I'm going to reapply for Spring Advantage 2013, as well as PIs for the same time. I can't wait. I want to go back so bad.

Fall Advantage 2011 WDW Haunted Mansion

Had my phone interview on Monday for Fall 2012 at DLR. Interview felt very different as an alumni. Every example I used was from my CP!

I know that there was a statement that said there wasn't going to be an alumni summer program, but do they always say that and then open up a program? Or is this the first time? That makes me sad, lol. I can't go back to school until August so therefore I can't apply until 2013!

When they have had an alumni program, they specify the details around the same time as when they let everyone know they can apply for fall/fall advantage.

they always say that they don't know if one will exist or not (because they probably don't).

then when they release the details stuff varies. these are things like the roles that are available (never the full list. sometimes one or two. sometimes 5). the date or dates that one must be available (recently was only one arrival date, but they have had 2 as well). then any other requirements (do you have to be enrolled in school?) and how to apply (special proceedure or follow the steps as other applicants).

they basically got rid of the summer only program about 12 years ago. they haven't always had something for alumni since then.

this was the first year in several years that they haven't, though. I'd guess that it is very unlikely that they will be able to offer one this year.

I completed two CP's. The first was merchandise at WOD during Spring 2010 and the second was also merchandise in Epcot Future World East (Test Track/Mission Space) during Spring 2011.

Fall 2010 and Spring 2011, both on the Friendships. I miss it too, and really want to run away again to do it! I stayed seasonal just because I couldn't let go!
