Does anyone know where UC passengers will be accommodated when the LGW Clubhouse closes for refurb in September?

I posted about this last month
Yes, us lucky UC people will be accommodated in the V-Room.
Only difference between the UC pax and the £17 fee paying (or even free with their booking) Virgin Holidays guests is that UC pax do not have to pay for alcoholic drinks.
Gold Card flyers will be in a different buisness lounge.

I've not been in there - is it ok? And I guess no treatments then?

No, nor me.
there are pictures of the cafe style lounge here
http://www.virginholidays.co.uk/extras/airport_lounges/info/lounges_clubhouse/vroom.aspx

no beauty treatments, no showers, no library, no hot food menu, but warm sausage sandwiches, no shoe shine guy, no table service, rather self service queuing, not sure if there are computers or not, until its in action, not sure if they will have the escorted service to the gate, and many more people as it will be available still to Virgin holidays passengers either free with their booking, or £17 each (Clubhouse was £35)
VH passengers will have to pay for alcoholic drinks, but UC pax can get theirs free at the bar.

Thanks for that - I think :scared1:

Does anyone have any further details about the other lounge for the gold club travellers?
