Alternate (Silly) Names for Rides

My family has funny names we call a couple of the rides. I was just wondering if other families do this too.

We call Mission Space "Mission Lieutenant Dan" and we call Spaceship Earth "Spaceship Judi Dench" after the narrators.

Does anyone else do this? If so please post here!!! Would love to hear them!

When my son was about 3-4 years old we took him on Spaceship Earth. At the end we asked if he liked it and he said he liked when they were "poking the elephant." He meant at the beginning when it shows the shadows of hunters spearing a wooly mammoth. He is 10 now and we still call it the poling the elephant ride.

Not exactly rides, but, when asked which ride I want to go on next, sometimes it's "The Bathroom Ride" or "The Bed Ride" if I'm ready to leave.

My DS,20 loathes Small World and has some choice names for it, but this is a family forum

He has been old enough to skip it while I ride for a long time now, yet he always goes along with us when we ride

This sounds like when someone asks "What game would you like to play" and I respond "The quiet game" lol.

Ellen's Energy Adventure is called "Let's Take a Nap with Ellen".

The Tower of death for the Hollywood Tower as I hate that ride but my wife shames me into riding it with her every time we go..

I refer to the "Circle of Life" film as "People Suck" and Dinosaur as "Larry the Scary Rex", after the ride in the film "Clifford". Pecos Bill's is "Pecos Bill's Fall Off Your Chair Café".

Not rides, but hotels, we always refer to the Dolphin and Swan hotels as the Pinenut & the Tuna

If you've never seen it, I suggest renting Mystery Science Theatre 3000 - The Movie. The film that they spend 90 minutes goofing on is This Island Earth.

That's what my family calls it as well. I just purchased the Fun Wheel Pandora charm for my daughter, so now it's an almost daily reference in our house.

To respond to the OP, every time my family is at Epcot or California Adventure, the first question asked is "Who wants to go see Puddy?" (Soarin')

I like to request a visit to Hall of Air Conditioned Naps instead of Presidents. Like PPs, I also may respond with the "Bathroom Ride, or Restaurant Ride" in response to "what ride is next?"

My sister always accidentally suggests Treasure Island vs. Tom Sawyer Island.

My son thinks it's funny to suggest we stop at a "Nikon Photo Spot, Great Photo Opportunity, TM"
