Altered Paint Can Swap - Progress Thread Deadline 10/31

So here we are, 10 days out from due date. How are we looking?

I finished mine. I did 3. I am curious how to get them to the hostess without having them dented or whatnot, LOL.

I'm not sure exactly what condition they arrived, but I would hope ok. I put them in large ziplocks, but left air inside. Then I filled the box with scraps of fleece that I had (really, I had some) hanging around. I used a small flat rate box so they didn't bang around too much. Hope that helps.

I wrapped each one of mine in tissue paper. The extra bulk from that kept the cans from moving around in one box and the other box I put a piece of foam on top and taped in down so the cans could not move. I'm not sure how they made it as I haven't heard if they did get there yet.

Could one of you help me? I PM'ed the hostess a couple of days ago and she hasn't replied. I would really like to send out my cans tomorrow if I could. Could one of you who have already sent and have her address PM me with it? I would really appreciate it.

I learned how to make the albums at the convention in Valley Forge last year. Essentially, (that is totally spelled wrong, isn't it?), youtake a number of paint chip card things from Lowe's (since that is where I got my cans) and adhere them back to back to make pages. Then bind them together! Instant album for pictures or phone numbers or whatever. They are neat because of the stripes of color. I picked ones that are in the shades that Ariel would have and they match the outside.

I'm having a rough day. Did that make sense?

Thank you. They were fun to make. Also, since I am in your group, gift tags would work for me. I plan on giving the cans to my DD, and my two nieces. Could they be Aurora insprired gift tags for the giving of the cans?

I'll do that. After I posted, I was looking thru my stuff and found some cute Aurora stickers that I forgot I bought for the paint cans. So I'll definitely put some Aurora ones in there!

My Tinkerbelle cans went postal on Saturday!!

I will update the "Received" page when I get home from work today. So far, from memory, I have received cans from 4 people. The deadline is one week from tomorrow for the cans to be at my house so they should be mailed out by about Thursday or Friday at the latest. The ones that have come so far are wonderful!
