I know i'm being rather ungrateful but whilst myself and DD's were in Disney this May my husband booked Barbados for Xmas 07! However it was costing £8000 for 2 weeks!!! Whilst England have been playing football i have persuaded him to alter it ;) (tomorrow morning) for Disney in October 07.....CSR and HRH here we come.........just wanted to tell someone! :yay:

I haven't actually been back on the boards since we got back on 25th May because i got so depressed about not being able to go next year.

I will have to pay attention to the threads about Mickeys Halloween Party now.

You'll have to hook up with Kevin Harrison - he posted again after ages away because he was so depressed about not having a trip booked.

Holiday amendments are also quite topical here. We'll just start calling you 'Anna' (you'll have to catch up on some threads to work that one out!)

Anyway, good call. Will men agree to anything whilst watching England? If so, I need to go away and do some devious planning! :teeth:

Great news :thumbsup2 It can be hard coming back to the boards if you don't have a trip planned but it is good to stay up to date with things too :teeth:

I suspect I'll be doing a disappearing act of my own in February as we won't have a trip planned for ages.

Well done for persuading hubby to change it (how fickle men are when they're watching the footy ;) ) - hope you have fun planning :)

Excellent news ~ We are going in October and November of next year as well.

great news, :cheer2:

£8000! wow!

I have changed my virgin california holiday to wdw though only because dbf decided he did not want to go untill dd is older, so I thought I may as well use the deposit. At least it means I can go in october now!

Thats great news, £8000 seems a bit extreme, :scared1: , welcome back to the planning zone,
Claire xx

Hi

£8,000 wow thats ridiculous. We have been to Barbados and I would not say it was worth it. It is a lovely place, but paradise as people imagine it to be. WDW wins with me everytime. For that money we could go twice... well nearly

UPDATE: After spending an hour on the phone to Virgin (and no mention of the £25 each alteration fee!!) i have changed it!!!!! :woohoo: Inside i feel so excited again.....eldest daughter said "your not on countdown already, are you" NO (only 63 weeks to go!! :rotfl2: ) Booked swimming with Dolphins again, that is almost as adictive as Disney, and we are staying like this year for 10 days at CSR and 5 days at HRH. Half the price of Barbados and much more exciting.

We go on October 11th 2007 but will have to change our name from GirlsonTour cause DH is dragging himself along this time?!

Gosh it was worth the football being so boring last night.........look at the amount of money i have just saved :rotfl:

That's excellent news! At least you have plenty of time to plan everything, but it will still come around before you know it :goodvibes
