I sent the DVC an email asking them if we could look at the DVC resorts, Anyone have an average of how many points are good enough for a week or a combination of weeks and a few weekends?

Can you use points at the hotels too? GF, Poly etc?

Sun-thurs (leaving on fri) is the best deal for your points.

the WDW hotels are useable by points - but aren't on the whole a good deal.

that doesn't mean don't use them for the hotels - just be aware that to stay in a hotel room you are giving up at least a 1-bedroom and most of the time a 2-bedroom.

I would rather stay in the 2-bedroom.

example - Polyn 36 points - same time OKW studio 8 points, 1-bedroom 16 points, 2-bedroom 22 points, 3-bedroom 36 points.

so it is up to you.
