Levi for a girl? Really? Nurrelle? I have never heard of that name. And Sharn? A transformed race of sorcerers from Dungeons and Dragons? For a little girl? Really?

Evangeline is definetly one of the names we have been tossing around. Love that name.

Lilianna was the first name I came up with. Especially since she will be born at Easter time.

I like Stella, too.

My kids LOVE Stella (and so do we!) They keep saying "STELLA MALONE!"

I like traditional names that I grew up with.

Had I been able to have another child and it was a girl, she'd have been Christine (or Christina) or Michelle.

My Dh loves the name Christina.


I don't like to post my kids names on line but both of my girls names have been mentioned on this thread and they are not very common. I am loving all of the suggestions. I especially love the Italians that are sharing their family's names. We have so many of the same names in our family too!

I'm Italian, my name is Annmarie (Americanized from Annamaria).

My daughter's are Nicole Lauren & Samantha Paige. Not Italian, but I love their names.

Well, 80% of my town is Italian, and I didn't use any Italian names (well, except Anna, which is pretty ethnically broad) because my last name is very Italian. From the school directory:


Ava, Eva, Olivia, Daniella, Sophia, Isabella, Mia, Guilianna, Gianna (the last 2 are sisters), Alaina, Jenna, Gabriella, Julia, Adriana, Victoria, Deanna, Alyssa, Clementina, Alycia, Marlena, Alexandria...

Ava, Olivia, Sophia, Isabella, and Victoria seems to be plentiful, but not nearly as many as there are of Jennas and Julias! Several per page!

Take a name, throw an "A" at the end and poof! It's Italian!

I love the name Savannah, although it's not Italian.

I like Evangeline. I had a work colleague named Evangeline and I loved working with her so the name has a positive association for me.

My daughters name is Jolicia (Jo-li-c-ia). She is adopted and already knew her name so, it was not changed. I will say, I never heard it and get tons of compliments on it. Not sure what the heritage of the name is.

I know a little girl from Italy her name is Pasqualina, but her family just calls her Alina
(pronounced like A-lean-a), which to me is such a pretty name by itself. Also my DBF's cousin from Italy is Carmen, just another thought.
