Already wish I didn't sell

I called and wrote and offered to pay the commission in full and also something to the buyer for the inconvenience. I read the contract and it said that there was a 10 day period to retract but still pay a fee.

TSS told me that was for the buyer not the seller. They were rather quick to say too bad, it is sold deal with it.

My DH said that we can buy a 75-80 contact after March 21 and hopefully the price will be lower. That will give us a few nights at Disney and lower MF.

I still wish I didn't do it.

Oh wow, I didn't realize the 10 day grace period was only for the buyer. I guess I just assumed that it applied to any business transaction.

Glad to hear your DH is on board with buying a smaller contract. If that is all you really need, then it sounds like you may have done the right thing and at the right time, maximizing your selling price during this rush to beat the deadline. I hope it all works out in the end and you're able to have some peace over it.

If you need to sell, you can still rent DVC points for your vacations. That way you can have the rooms you are used to without being tied down to the contract.
