Already have tickets, what do I do at TTC?

Maybe I'm being just a little too obsessive-compulsive, but, if we already have our tickets in hand upon arriving, what do we need to do at the TTC? Obviously, we need to have our tickets scanned, etc. Do we go to the ticket window, a different window?? just want to be prepared. Thanks.

You don't really need to visit the TTC...it's basically the entrance point to the monorails and ferry's for Magic Kingdom day guests using their cars, and they do have ticket booths there. But if you already have your tickets, unless you are staying off property or driving in, you won't be visiting the TTC. YOu will be able to go straight to the gate with your ticket to enter, no need to have it scanned before hand or anything (unless you have an AP that is a voucher and needs to be exchanged).

If you already have your tickets, you will bypass the TTC ticket windows and go straight to the monorail station or waiting area for the ferry. You will ride over, and when you get to the MK you will move through security, and then have your ticket out to go through the admission turnstile. If you take a bus from your resort, I believe you bypass the TTC entirely and are dropped off at the MK entrance.

As DVCLiz stated.....if you are staying at a Disney resort and going to the Magic Kingdom take the bus. The Disney bus leaves you right outside the main entrance of the MK. If you drive you have to park at the TTC and maybe tram (depends on how far back your car is) and then either take the boat or monorail to the MK.
There is no car parking at the MK. The only time you will "visit" the TTC is if you drive to the MK.

You have tickets already. The TTC is meaningless for you. Period. Forget it exists.

If you are staying off-property and are driving, you will at some point go through an area to get to MK (by monorail or by ferry). That area happens to be the TTC, but don't let the name mean anything to you whatsoever.

Thanks, Eric, and everyone else,
that pretty much clarifies it. We will be driving, as we're staying off Disney, but AAA gave us a voucher to park in a special lot (?) that's supposed to be a little closer. Don't know if this is actually true yet or not...

As other have mentioned you only have to deal with the TTC if you are arriving at the park in your own car (or via bus/monorail from another Disney park).

Be advised that they perodically check that you have a ticket, they don't scan the ticket or anything, the checks usually happen in the morning and are intended to make sure day guests have bought their tickets at the TTC before they get all the way over to the park.

The special AAA lot for Magic Kingdom is also at the TTC.

When you need to get your ticket out and show it to a CM at the TTC, there are no turnstiles that slow things on the way from the ticket booths to the monorail and ferry ramps.
