Booked at the Poly 11/3-10 with a 40% code from the Spring. Anyone think the Disney Visa discount would be an additional savings?

I called yesterday to check and the CM said it would be the same price. I didn't think it would be any better. When I booked with the 40% code, I received about $1300 off the price because we have two rooms.

I believe the 40% off code is better. Our savings was roughly 26% off of rack rates on our Poly GV room. Maggie

For us the 40% was much better. See pricing:

Dec 16 - Dec 21
2A 2C
with Dining/one day tickets
AKL - Pool view w/ bunkbeds

With 40% off code - $1610.20
Disney Visa discount - $1902.70
Rack Rate- $2,172.70

How do ypu get a 40% off code?

Is this a pin # from a mailer or another source?

Please let me know.

Yes.

For me the 40% off was MUCH better.

My dates are December 19-26. The first day is value season, so that rate held for the 6 following nights.

The Disney Visa code gave me a discount off the value season rate for December 19th and the rest at HOLIDAY season rates! Ouch.

Well I just called to see if there would be a difference. We are staying at the Poly in December, and the CM was adamant that the Disney Visa code only applied to the Value resorts. I didn't want to argue with him, but he just kept repeating that it was only for the values:confused3. I still think Disney needs to better train their CMs, the misinformation being given by CMs is astounding.

I am glad to see that the 40% seems to be a better deal, and glad that I don't have to call back.

I do not know what the percentage is, but I saved 1000.00 on my 9 night stay at the Poly GV in Oct/Nov. I am soooo happy!! :cool1:

I was wondering about the 40% off code too. In Feb I booked

Dec. 15-21 CR garden view
2A 1-13yr old 1-5 yr old
7 day park hoppers
Dining plan
for $28XX.00

Do you all think the new code will beat this or should I even bother calling. also it would need to be the GP code not the AP or Visa.

I wouldn't want to give up CR unless it was a really good deal.
