Alpine Inn Review

Hi everyone!

I just returned from DL last night. We had a great time. Big crowds, A LOT of rain. The rain was awesome, it's cleared out the parks!

I'm very surprised that there isn't a lot of info on the Alpine Inn on these boards! It's great. It's within walking distance, it's next to Desert Palms. It's very basic motel. But it's clean, close to DL and cheap. They just updated the rooms. Their web site isn't updated. We stayed in a 2 rooms suite. The main room had 2 queen beds, and the 2nd room had 1 King bed with a desk and arm chair. We had a mini frig and microwave. There is a couple thing we didn't like: The light in the bath room is dim, but gets brighter the longer you are in there. There's no elevator, so we had to have a downstairs room (we had a wheelchair). We heard the people upstairs. Wish we had earplugs. Get a upstairs room. We stayed Dec 30th - Jan 3rd for less then $700. You have to call to get a suite.

I tried to get my roommates not to mess the rooms up before I could take pictures but it didn't work. I finally just took pictures the last day.

Thanks for this! We leave in the morning and we are staying here, so I decided (I guess a little last minute), to see if people have posted anything on here about the Alpine Inn. You have made me feel more confident about my choice, so thanks again!

I haven't stayed there in a few years...the upgraded rooms look good! Were the beds comfortable?

We have stayed there in the past when the budget was tight. It is clean, the staff is friendly and we were quite happy.
